'Heerlijk hotel in een prachtige omgeving. Lekker om uit te rusten na een rondreis door Costa Rica. Ontbijt en dinner kan wel beter. Een paar keer bultruggen gespot vanaf het strand. Dat was super! Verder genoten van simpelweg wat toeren in de omgeving. De wegen zijn erg slecht, maar dat is ook de charme van Costa Rica. '

'Thomas was a great host. He was super knowledgeable about area and even drove us to a couple places before we decided to rent a car. This is a hidden gem. We got to see monkeys from our balcony in their natural habitat If you're looking for a quiet romantic getaway, this is it. I do recommend renting a car as things are a bit away. But close enough for day trips. '

'Fidelito is set on a small ridge which affords great views into the trees to see birds and monkeys. The rooms are big and very nice, with a patio that looks into the forest. The owners are wonderful people. There is a garden with a very well appointed outdoor common room. Directions to find the place were accurate and easy to follow. We really loved it.'

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...
