'We had an amazing stay. The property is covered with full-grown trees, dense bushes and flowers of all kinds. All the amenities are well spaced out, but still at walking distances. 'Muy buen lugar, así empiezan las descripciones, pero quedan cortas las palabras expresar que; casi no quisieras descansar por contemplar sus vistas a la naturaleza, y lo fácil que es relajarse y consentirse con sus vistas dentro de la habitación y jazuzzi. 'We were in 2 times 2023 (21 days) and 2024 (19 days). It's a building that was ready 2022 and you can already see that it's not well maintained and cleaned. Cleaning is not done properly. At first it looks clean but it isnt. They clean, however it's done to quick and with dirty mopping gear. A lack off Maintenance, toilet doors at the rooftop can't be closed anymore. 'Hotel posada Mariposa is een echte aanrader. Centraal gelegen voor winkels en restaurantjes. Het strand is een kleine 10 minuten lopen dus prima. Ontbijt een beetje eenvoudig maar voor een redelijke prijs kan je er extra gerechten bij bestellen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kunt ieder dag met 50% korting gebruik maken van strandbedden en parasol bij beachclub Marmitas. Je kan vanuit het hotel dagelijks gratis strandlakens meenemen.'

'The stay was over all pleasant (8 out of 10), although we had complications with the amount of beds reserved for us; we were a party of six and the apartment was prepared for five. There's a really nice gym on the ground floor with all sort of group lessons like yoga, pilates, etc... Please keep in mind that these apartments are not direct to the beach but one block away. One huge tip: when making reservations through booking sites, although you've set the search filter, do check the details...

"Before we arrived at the hotel, we received a form to fill out with all our details. A few days before our arrival, we were required to check in online to avoid waiting at the hotel. However, on the day of our arrival, we still had to wait about half an hour to check in again. In the meantime, I was browsing a shop in the hotel and accidentally dropped a magnet, which I had to pay for—it cost around 260 pesos. There was no elevator. While the view from our ocean-view room was nice, the room itself could have been cleaner. We managed, but the bedsheets were too thin, and we could see the mattress, which wasn’t very clean. There was no air conditioning, only a fan, which caused discomfort. The noise from the fan was unbearable—it hurt my ears and gave me a headache! I couldn’t sleep at all because of the noise, but when I turned it off, it was too hot. I ended up leaving it on for the entire week, and the temperature never went below 25°C. It was truly an unpleasant stay. The food was served in an open buffet. Since we don’t eat meat, it was disturbing to see that the same utensils were used for both meat and non-meat items. For example, they were cooking meat and then using the same spatula to serve pasta. "
