Localização perfeita
Excelente escolha pra hospedagem. Localizado quase na esquina da caracoles, piscinas ótimas. Atendimento excelente, ressalto a brasileira SEVLA um amor de pessoa, cheia de dicas valiosas. A suíte 35 é melhor !

This is a lovely property and the staff were wonderful. It might be too warm in summer as there is no AC and little ventilation. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel confortável, boas instalações, bom café da manhã, bem localizado, restaurante com bom atendimento. Um único item que decepcionou foi o atendimento ao relizar o checkin do hotel. Avisei com a devida antecedência pelo chat do hoteis.com da minha chegada na madrugada e ao chegar por volta das 2h da manhã no hotel, o vigilante que estava de plantão não tinha a menor ideia do meu quarto, tive que ajudá-lo com os papéis impressos e após meia hora finalmente consegui localizar meu nome e quarto, que estavam nessas anotações. Perguntei e fiquei sabendo que era o primeiro dia de trabalho desse vigilante-recepcionista, que por sua vez recebeu informações de um recepcionista que também estava há pouco tempo no hotel. Outra possibilidade de melhoria é o atendimento da recepção, com ampla possibilidade de ser menos rude, com menos foco no controle e maior foco na qualidade do serviço e satisfação do clientte (por exemplo, ênfase em avisar que as chaves devem ser sempre devolvidas na recepção, isso no primeiro dia ao fazer checkin sem nenhum precedente de esquecimento da entrega das chaves de minha parte). No geral, nota 4 dos 5, os demais itens compensaram esse desgaste desnecessário causado pela recepção excessivamente burocrática e rude. Com um pequeno ajuste de maior cordialidade da recepção, o hotel teria certamente a avaliação máxima.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pablado Kimal. We choose bungalow and it was a great decision. Bungalows were located inside the walled aria which was very green. Every bungalow stand alone with a small porch with table and two chair. Inside was clean and have basic services like a small refrigerator and privet full bathroom. No TV but who needs TV while visiting Atacama! Only one downside is a very slow internet, but it was explained that this is generic for San Pedro. Stuff was excellent and very responsive for all our need. Restaurant was absolutely great. Complementary breakfast was above what do you expect.

Magical oasis in the middle of desert
Amazing oasis in the middle of the desert. Staff were super friendly and we even got a welcome drink when arriving. Rooms were spacious and beds super comfy. I’ll definitely come back.

Muy bien. El lugar esta muy bien ubicado a menos se 50 mts. del "centro turístico". La atención, limpieza e instalaciones impecables. Solo agregaría TV y aire acondicionado.

El café que incluyen en el desayuno es de muy baja calidad, fuera del nivel del hotel. Es un café preparado que llevan a la mesa en un termo, preparado. Tuve que pagar adicional para tomar café de grano, en una presentación más estética. Una sra en el restaurant y un hombre en la recepción, fueron los únicos desagradables. Todo el personal, muy amable. Si bien el poblado kimal es un espacio tranquilo, el ruido que llega en la noche, de los bares cercanos es muy molesto e impide dormir antes de las 01:30am.

We liked the self-contained cabin with its outdoor porch and seating. We did not have a good night's sleep during the entire stay as the neighbor dogs would fight and bark all night. One expects quiet in the desert.

Clean comfortable and convenient.
This is a comfortable, clean cabin set up, conveniently located off the main street of San Pedro with great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. I didn't get to take advantage of their activities because was there for work. It was not the high tourist season, so there was some noise from construction, but this was understandable and should not be the case other times. Highly recommended.

El personal es poco comprometido con la experiencia del huésped nos perdimos una excursión por no poder bañarnos debido a un problema de agua caliente que tardaron 3 horas en resolverlo y no nos dieron una solucion más inmediata como cambiarnos de habitación. el lugar es limpio y se descansa bien. Schöne Anlage mit kleinem Pool
Die Hütten sind zweckentsprechend eingerichtet, auch mit Kühlschrank. Für den Preis würde man sich vielleicht ein bisschen mehr erwarten, auch wenn die Gegend generell recht teuer ist. Angenehm zum Ausruhen nach Ausflügen ist der Pool, Liegen waren immer frei. Parkplätze stehen nicht allzu viele in einem Hof zur Verfügung, mit einem großen Auto (wie wir eines hatten) kann das Ein-/Ausparken dann zur echten Millimeterarbeit werden. Recht aufdringliches Anbieten der eigenen Touren, man wird jedes Mal an der Rezeption - wenn man seinen Zimmerschlüssel holt oder abgibt - gefragt, ob man schon eine Tour für nächsten Tag gebucht hat. Teilweise wurden wir alleine wegen dieser Frage auch noch recht spät am Abend im Zimmer angerufen....

Lovely stay in convenient location
A great place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama. It was off the main pedestrian street, so it was quiet. The rooms were basic but clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast across the street was OK. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had a car and were able to park it on-site. A couple of minutes up the road were all the restaurants and shops. Very convenient to all.

Hotel staff was wonderful and helpful. Rooms are basic and small. No air conditioning made for very hot nights, even though there was a room fan. Breakfast was good.

Great location just off the main street of San Pedro de Atacama. The more rustic of the two Kimal hotels, the rooms are actually little cabins connected by a wood boardwalk. Staff were helpful, especially Andrea, offering suggestions about where to eat and what to see.

We stayed at hotel Poblado Kimmal for 4 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful and also know very good English (which is not so common in Chile). They provided a breakfast in a box for a trip that started very early and we could not eat at the hotel. The cabin is very spacious and cozy. The hotel's location is great and very close to the main street with many shops, restaurants and travel agencies to book tours. We would like to thank the girl at the reception, that arranged us a private driver in 10 minutes when our transfer to the airport did not come on time to pick us.

Central bangalos in San Pedro do Atacama!
Bangalôs displayed in zig-zag on a nice little garden form this hotel’s second location across the street of main one, where restaurant, bar and main pool are! It is a very convenient place to be and surprisingly quiet for the proximity of center of town! Restaurant is good as well. All went well. Bathrooms need an upgrade thow!

Because of their negligence I have lost $110
I left my passport at their safe at the front desk. When I checked out in the morning, the security guard did not know how to open it. The transfer van to the airport that I have ordered before could not wait any longer and left. Only when the front dest guy showed up, he was able to open the safe. He informed me that the front desk was only open between 7:30am and 10:30pm, and that I was supposed to get my passport during that time. I had to get a taxi to the airport for $110 US, and the hotel took no responsibility for that. It is not a cheap hotel: $150/night. This situation could have been avoided several times: 1) the front desk person talked to me the night before because she had no idea how hotels.com (Expedia) would pay for the room since I paid directly to them. I told her that I am leaving very early in the morning, and she could have mentioned about my passport; 2) security guards could follow instructions from the front desk person and open the safe; 3) a hotel that costs $150/night should be able to afford to put safes in each person's room instead of one at the front desk; 4) a hotel that costs $150/night should be able to have 24 hour front desk instead of having security guards that are useless; 5) they could have acknowledged their screwup instead of blaming me and paid the transfer to the airport. None of this happened. Also, no A/C.
