Spectacular setting with great views from both the room patios and the adjacent restaurant. Excellent food as well.

Hotel very unique, beautiful ocean view, very quiet and safe area perfect for a relaxing weekend, restaurant food very good and fair price, personnel friendly. Hotel rooms need more amenities, very plain, they need to have a least mini fridge, better bed sheets and pillows and blankets, 19 inch tv is way old fashion, no WiFi available in the room, air conditioner works well but no remote to turn on and off

Hermoso lugar super limpio durante el almuerzo Iris nos hiso sentir como en casa con su amabilidad y servicio. La pubtualidad y servicio de Melani durante nuestro desayuno excellente servicio. Solo el ultimo dia el joven de turno no tenia nada listo a la hora del desayuno y tuvimos que salir sin desayunar. Fuera de eso muy bueno todo.

We really enjoy the hotel accommodations. Staff, on site restaurant / bar and relaxing location makes it a destination to return to.. . It’s a very local vibe smaller village.Friendly note ; they require cash or local tender for payment of stay. Thanks to all at Hotel Bocaino for a memorable stay.

MUST BRING CASH TO PAY HOTEL!!!!!!!
Beautiful location, comfortable room and nice staff. What made our stay terrible is the fact they do not accept credit cards and www.hotels.com did not disclaimed it on their listing. At 7pm when we arrived they asked for the full amount cash (yes, we supposedly paid half online, but it was just a deposit) there is no ATM within 30Km/20miles around, Boca de Yuma is a little town. We ended up driving over 1 hour to get cash from the ATM (included a high fee from it because our accounts were from USA) and almost $150 in Uber. Ridiculous! this situation literally ruined our short stay, breakfast was included (as per the website and my receipt) but at the reception we were told nothing was included with our room...... Absurd!!!! The owner was in the hotel the last day and I bet he saw the frustration in our faces and after back and forth with the staff about the included breakfast, he decided to offer us a free dinner. Thanks for that. This place has a lot of potential, but definitely needs A LOT of improvement, specially in the payments area. I wish I could recommend this place because I really like it, but based on my personal experience, I would wait a couple of years until technology gets there.

Very poor, also owner try to take full amount when they had already took half of the deposit when i first booked the hotel and had to pay the other half when i arrive to the hotel. Owner tried to rip me off. I wont recommend that hotel to no one

Vue incroyable
Très joli hôtel, la chambre donne sur un petit jardin avec vue sur la mer. Réveil incroyable ! Le restaurant est très bon. Portions plus que généreuses par contre petit-déjeûner assez simple. Le personnel est très sympa.

L'endroit est très bien placé en face de la mer, la chambre est spacieuse, les sanitaires sont très bien avec eau chaude. Le seul problème proximité avec un très grand restaurant qui est bondé le week-end avec musique trop forte jusqu'à tard le soir. Piscine ouverte à tout le public moyennant rémunération avec musique également .

Excellent hotel, dirty town
Overall the experience was perfect. The hotel met all expectations. We really enjoyed the room, the view of the hotel and the restaurant. And the pool helps when it is very hot. The only bad thing about the trip was the dirtiness of the town. The 3 tourist places that exist in the town were overflowing with dirt. Locals left trash everywhere and ruined such beautiful places.

Fish was not fresh at all but service at table was good . Room was not clean and without hot water . The owner of place a very rude and arrogant person . Great views but definitely not a friendly place to advice

I don´t understand why someone who doesn't like food (not fresh) wants to eat the same food in the same restaurant again the next day.....Masochist? About cleanness just take a look at Airbnb and Booking reviews: those speak for themselves. Anyway our guests know that we work hard and seriously to always take care of them. Thanks

Needs better management
The view stunning, the room was clean, The problem was Lack of communication about the services they provided, example no hot water we had to ask, to clean room we had to ask, breakfast they ran out and would not get more, to be honest it felt like they did not cared about the service they provided because if they did they would be proactive and not just do the bare minimum, that it was how it came across, lovely place, best one in the area, needs better management and an overhaul done if not there would not be repeat customer, and sincerely has lots of potential, will come back when things are revamped.

We do, in fact, care about each of our customers, which is why it saddens us to hear that your experience was not positive. In fact, we do have hot water at the hotel and our policy (from experience) is for guests to not be interrupted during they stay to clean rooms unless they ask. There should have been a sign in your room to request this service. We apologize if this was not communicated properly to you. As for breakfast, you are entirely in you right to request more, especially since it is made to order. We are unsure what could have happened there and will investigate to prevent such incidents in the future. We, again, thank you for your comments. We will take each one into consideration to make our hotel better for our guests. We do hope you consider our hotel in the future and take full advantage of what Boca de Yuma has to offer.
