'Cool & quirky place the size of a warehouse! Tons of baseball memorabilia and history. Dave’s a really cool dude! Highly recommend staying and something that’s completely different for a change.'

'This is a great place for a couple to stay in Alameda. The cottage is beautifully appointed, quiet, and within easy walking distance of the Park Street shops. Safeway and Trader Joes are a five minute drive away. The adjoining gardens, which guests are free to use, are lovely. The cottage comes supplied with all the basics. We stayed there for 10 days and would definitely come again. John and Arthur were gracious hosts.'

'This was a great stay over all. Great communication and very fast response. Place was exactly how the online photos looked. Only minor thing was the couch had miscellaneous food and trash debris in the cracks. Will definitely recommend.'

'Host was wonderful But we were outside for very long before she came an get us in Unit itself id wonderful too Clean With pets allowed some probably has accident s I have two male dogs They marked So, we spent $130 to buy a crane put the little guys in If you have more than one car, parking will be a challenge I noticed few cars-- bigger van, .. Etc stays tgere tge whole time when we were there Without my male companies. I wont feel safe walk my dogs at night'

'Overall this property served its purpose. The area was a little rough around the edges but the location was convenient for getting both to Berkeley and San Francisco. The property was is some need of repairs. The gas dryer was not connected to gas and didn’t have any heat, the kitchen was functional but some of the cabinets were falling apart. The beds were comfortable and the space was ample for our group of seven.'

'We had a great stay. Alameda has the best and biggest July 4 parade. Marti gave us some great restaurants to visit and recommended the ferry to San Francisco. Thank you !'

'We were very pleased with the condition of the unit. It was very clean and comfortable, and just as listed. Overall, I was very happy we rented it and would go again. (*That being said, I'd bring - or ask for a larger coffee pot... The existing one is maybe 2 cups at most... and honestly, that was the only thing I could complain about! :) A very nice place!'

'I booked on May 8 and within an hour realized I need to modify the arrival date. The listing said free cancellation May 12. I immediately messaged the host, but didn't receive an inbox response until May 17 approving the date change. I then ask the host to change the online booking dates and charges to reflex the agreed upon shorter stay. She insisted that I had handle that with VRBO.
