'Room was clean. Definitely older property. Pets allowed which was great! My door however did not have any interior installation so it was not as secure as I would like and allowed noise and sunlight through it. In room fridge definitely needed to be cleaned better. '

'It’s an old hotel that is updated but the not updated parts are gross. There were several stains on my ceiling and walls from old leaks, the shower head was disgusting, and although the carpet seemed new you could smell that a dog had peed on it before. There were hand prints all over my headboard which is disgusting and also some kind of smudges left on every mirror in my room so housekeeping could definitely do better. The bed was comfortable and the furniture is new so thats a plus.'

'The property definitely gives what you pay for. The rooms can definitely use an update feel. There are minor/simple things that can make the room better looking. Updating the paint on walls maybe some accent decor, discard the bedding if it has spot on them. The overall stay wasn’t bad the pictures advertised should reflect the room my personal opinion.'

'The staff at the front desk were great. The room was just OK. The carpets were stained and dirty and had a smell. Pretty gross actually. If you stay in Room 325 definitely wear slippers or socks. '

'Very rough part of town… adjacent buildings with boarded windows and people loitering at all hours. Right next to a loud bar. Six foot fence around property, I think that’s enough said. Only positive the doors are internal and not external.'

'Cute and clean pet friendly hotel in Jekyll Island. The staff was very friendly, especially Mase. He gave us good food and sightseeing recommendations. Parking was plentiful and we were less than 10 minutes from Driftwood Beach. I would stay again and bring my 4 legged friend with me. '
