'Terribly run down. Loud. Lights shining in our room. Bathroom fixtures coming off the wall. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Pot smoke rolling under the connecting room door.
Pool closed.
But, staff were nice and efficient…they just didn’t have much to work with. And, I never do reviews.'

'The place was very nice, right off the beach, and overall a clean establishment. The only issues I had was the walls felt paper thin. I heard every conversation in the rooms next to me and above me. Another flaw was the way the building was designed which gave the corridor a huge echo which exacerbated the noise problem. Also, there were a group of guys that were roomed right next to us and they kept us awake until about 1:30am and even then there were the occasional bangs, yelling, and music...

'The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again.'

'They overbooked our rooms so half of our party had to go to another hotel .4 miles away which was REALLY disappointing since we all live in different states and wanted to spend time together and not have to walk back and forth.
The gym also was .4 miles away and had to pay a resort fee. Who wants to go that far to work out??
The hotel was nice and clean, staff friendly BUT SO FRUSTRATED about the rooms. Had they updated us prior we all could have gone to same hotel OR they could have sent...
