Mooie woning met 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers met een prachtig uitzicht op de Sandia-berg en dicht bij tal van wandelpaden, op 15 minuten van Albuquerque en 45 minuten van Santa Fe langs de Turquoise Trail, waar u het kleine kunstenaarsstadje Madrid tegenkomt op ongeveer 25 minuten afstand met van winkels en eetgelegenheden en een pub. Het huis ligt ook op 20 minuten van het skigebied Sandia Peak en op slechts enkele minuten van het Cibola National Forest en de golfclub Paa-Ko Ridge. Er zijn restaurants / bars op 5 minuten afstand. De woning heeft wifi, een kingsize bed in de slaapkamer, een queensize bed in de slaapkamer 2 en twee aparte bedden in de 3e slaapkamer. Er is ook een slaapbank in de woonkamer met een 55-inch smart-tv met Netflix, HULU en CNN.

What a nice place. Easy drive to the balloon festival park and ride at Hoffmantown Church, while giving us a great mountain setting. Our host, Oscar, and his property managers, John and Dee, were great…very friendly, helpful and responsive. The house sits on a ravine with great sunset views from both the back patio and raised front patio. Lots of outdoor space, bedrooms were very comfortable, living space was large and well appointed. Kitchen was large and well equipped, with great startup stocks. Overall, would definitely come back for our next visit to Albuquerque. We didn’t ski (October), but easy drive up the mountain if that’s your plan. Two thumbs way up!

Cluttered but very nice(a lot of decor). The kitchen needs a pizza cutter! The stay was great and the beds were very comfortable. Appreciated all the towels available. The place was clean. Overall we enjoyed ourselves!

Gorgeous Sandia Retreat

We were awed and impressed by the beautiful and peaceful setting. The decor has a cool international vibe, and the house is soooo comfortable. Seriously loved this place and wish we could have stayed way longer!!!

House has great views. Spacious living dining and kitchen. Bedrooms were each uniquely decorated with lots of nice artwork. Host had provided breakfast essentials which was very nice to have!A bit tricky access for elderly to navigate.

Beautiful Home

The house was beautifully decorated and maintained. John and Dotie (the caretakers) even had fresh muffins waiting for us when we arrived! The one question we had was answered promptly and completely. We would love to stay here whenever we are in Albuquerque to visit our granddaughter.

Best Hideaway in the Mountains

My mom has a house nearby but we needed more room for the adult kids and stayed at this listing nearby and it was beyond wonderful. So clean, and has everything helpfully labeled for easily finding things in the kitchen, we were able to make full family meals. The views are unbeatable and the air hockey table and games in the closet made for some fun nights with the family. Would love to stay again!

Tranquility with a view

House was situated overlooking the east mountains, and it could not have been better appointed, comfortable or fabulous! The only sounds we heard were the occasional rooster or horse far off in the distance. No highway noise, no sirens, very few airplanes. It is incredibly peaceful. There is a lot of room inside and out and if the weather was warmer we would have spent all night outside stargazing! Would recommend it to anyone needing to get away from it all!

Very nice place, rough roads surrounding. Owner and caretakers were very helpful. Living room furniture is different and that was disappointing as new couch was not Comfortable. Fireplace and pellet heater were not working but had other source of heat once were were assisted by caretaker.

Lots of Room and Beautiful

This house has space to spare and has everything you need, just like being at home. The host's extra touches made the stay extra special. The location is quiet and private and the views are beautiful. The road is narrow and gravelly on the final stretch to the house, but it is worth the drive into the location.

Home away from home!

What a great experience! Plenty of communication from owner and property managers. The house was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. When we arrived, there were some groceries in the fridge, coffee & K-cups, etc. which saved us a trip to the store. We were concerned about the crime rate of Albuquerque, so decided to stay a little ways away from the city. This house is so safe. The area is 100% residential, but it is a great starting place to go to anything you want to do. Our longest day away was to go to Arizona to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert National Park (about 3.5 hours away). But all the NM National Parks & Monuments were within an hour and a half. We did not see everything we wanted to see, but this will definitely be the place we stay when we return!!! Thanks for the great home!

Short & Sweet Stay

This was our 4th stay here, as we use it as our 1/2-way point on our trip to Colorado each Summer (going & coming). It's been a great 'pit stop' for us to recharge, and we're able to park our 18-ft dirt-bike & ATV trailer we haul behind our Tahoe in the driveway, which is a must for us based on why we're traveling. It does take a bit of maneuvering but does work for that purpose. The neighbor across the street has always been such a help, to welcoming us, to getting us settled inside, and on this trip he showed us the 'swamp cooler' he added to the master bedroom, and also brought us bagels for the following morning's breakfast. So nice. This house does also have an a/c unit in the main living area. It was August, and it was a very hot day, so both of these helped cool the home. Again, a plus based on rentals we've used in both Colorado and New Mexico. There are limited restaurants in town, so FYI, if you're like us and depend on eating out on short stays. We enjoy Ribs BBQ, but they're only open Thur-Sun. We're thankful to call this our home away from home on our travels, and will definitely book again next year.

So accomodating!

The innkeeper lives across the street. A very pleasant couple that made themselves available. We actually didnt need to call them as this place has every imaginable necessity and amenity. A beautiful view from the patio was enjoyed by all. Would return for sure.

Nice house

Coming in to the neighborhood was a bit concerning but this rental is lovely. It is clean and very well stocked. I gave it a 4 star rating because the listing led me to believe the house was air conditioned. In reality, just the living room has it. There is a fan in each bedroom but you would be wise to bring an additional one for each room. It cooled off at night and it was barely tolerable for this old lady who is used to sleeping in a refrigerator as my husband calls it at night

Wonderful place!

We were not expecting such a welcoming space with wonderful, friendly property managers. The view was peaceful and beautiful. The property managers really set up the place to be very welcoming and cozy. The game room was great with an air hockey table. They had puzzles, board games and dvds providing many ways to to hangout and just relax. If we’re ever out this way again, we would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for everything!

Located just right

We were in the area for a reunion of sorts. The host's house and a nice restaurant we used were just a few miles away. This was far more convenient than commuting back and forth from Abq. The house was darling. 3 bedrooms, a big couch at the TV and kitchen/dining area all worked very well. It's a bit of a zig and a zag or 2 to work through the neighborhood, but everyone found it via Google maps.
