GOED GEPLAATST, AANTREKKELIJKE CHALET IN SANDOWN

'Driftwood' is een gezellig onlangs gerenoveerde chalet op 500 meter van de zee, in een afgelegen gebied met uitzicht op Culver omlaag en dicht bij de National Trust eigendom kustgebied. Omgeven door een prachtig landschap is het een oase van rust. Een korte wandeling brengt u naar de bekroonde Yaverland en Sandown stranden en met kliffen beroemd om hun fossielen. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met magnetron, elektrische oven, koelkast, broodrooster en blender etc. De lounge heeft een comfortabele tweezitsbank en fauteuil fauteuil met een eettafel en 4 stoelen. Er is een 32 inch HD TV met DVD en Freeview. Toegang tot 3G-internet is beschikbaar afhankelijk van uw mobiele provider. Het chalet is modern design en goed geplaatst. Er is een volwassene sized stapelbed in een van de slaapkamers en de andere heeft een tweepersoonsbed met pocketvering matrassen. De badkamer is volledig gerenoveerd met douche.

Just enjoyed a wonderful two weeks away staying in this cosy little chalet.The chalet was clean and well cared for with a garden table and chairs from which to enjoy a sunny morning cuppa.The location was amazing - a stone's throw from the coastal path and the stunning Yaverland beach. Perfect for humans and dogs alike!! :) Also, the perfect base ftom which to explore this magical Isle.Looking forward to returning when I can!!

The chalet is set in a beautiful spot with great views..it's well equipped with everything you need and fresh towels and bedding... everything is well maintained and very comfortable for our stay..it's very dog friendly on lead in site and great walks off site .. really appreciate a wonderful welcome basket and treats and card ..we can not wait for the next trip and will definitely be booking to stay again

Great location, chalet and holiday

We found the chalet quiet, clean and cosy. Situated on a large site with plenty of space. No shop or social club on site but chalet had plenty of extras so just needed to take food. Close by the sandy beach (short downhill walk) and cafe there. Great base to explore from. Kind and responsive hosts. Recommended.

High-quality accommodation, well positioned

Excellent interior decor and facilities. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the kitchen equipment and accessories - vacuum cleaner etc. It felt like nothing had been skimped on and everything had been carefully sourced and thought out. The position of the property couldn't have been better - a few minutes' drive or walk from a beautiful beach and an easy route into the town. The chalet park itself, and some of the chalets on it, are in need of TLC, and there is renovation work going on in some properties that has obviously stalled and is a bit of an eyesore, but the location itself is beautifully tranquil - no noise or rowdiness. All in all, it's a very relaxing place to stay and we had a great time there.

Nice chalet not too far from coastal path

The chalet was nice but I think in need of an update. There wasn't a wardrobe in the double bedroom, just some hooks on a rail with some hangers on, it would have been nice to have a wardrobe in there but there was very limited space. There are blinds at the windows but no curtains and with a street light right outside the back bedroom window it was quite light in that room all night. The beds were lovely and comfortable and shower was always hot. The location wasn't great for us but mostly because I had a broken ankle. The coastal path would have been ideal if I had been able to walk to it. The sun is on the front of the property in the morning but at the back in the evening so not great for sitting out at the end of the day. We did however see lots of rabbits in the field outside the chalet in the morning and evening which was lovely to watch. It was nice that there were toilet rolls, kitchen roll, foil, hand wash, washing up liquid etc there already which we topped up when we went shopping. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of information available with places to visit around the island.

Beautiful family chalet

My husband, daughter, dog & I had the best stay at Driftwood Chalet, the property was clean, comfortable & very well equipped, along with a lovely welcome pack. It is in a great location with a lovely beach within a 5 minute walk & easy access to all parts of the island. Will definitely book again.
