Maak je klaar om de hellingen op de Schweitzer-berg te raken terwijl je verblijft in dit prachtige logboekhuis op drie niveaus. Het aangepaste houtwerk en de gewelfde plafonds zorgen voor een gezellige omgeving binnen, terwijl het dek en de eigen hot tub een prachtig uitzicht bieden op de omliggende bossen buiten. De keuken is volledig uitgerust met nieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten en biedt alles wat u nodig hebt om een grote maaltijd voor het hele gezin te bereiden. Onlangs gerenoveerd, dit huis heeft ook een bonuskamer beneden, met veel ruimte om te ontspannen in elk seizoen!

Dit huis ligt bovenop de berg Schweitzer, op slechts 800 meter van de voet van het skigebied. Als u niet aan het skiën, snowboarden of wandelen bent op de omliggende hellingen, kunt u een stukje bij Powder Hound Pizza pakken of genieten van de voorzieningen van Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Sandpoint ligt op slechts 12 mijl heuvelafwaarts, waar u toegang tot het meer vindt bij City Beach Park en geweldige lokale winkels.

This is my second stay here and could not say enough good things. It is a lovely, rustic ski cabin/house that is a minute from the slopes and has a lovely view with a hot tub. The owner has always been lovely and easy to communicate with. Not sure why there are some reviews that say it wasn't clean enough. We have never had a single complaint! I plan on staying again next year.

My husband and I rented this cabin for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin. We appreciated the home being pet friendly, but expected it to be cleaner due to the price. The walls were covered in dust and spider webs. The bedroom upstairs had an excessive amount of insects and bugs, there was no information regarding the cabin itself within the home, the WiFi did not work, the furniture smelt horrid, and the couch in the basement was not as pictures, MUCH small and super uncomfortable. The floors looked like they hadn’t been deep cleaned and the hot tub reeked of fermented alcohol and the cover lift was broken making it very difficult to take off. I contacted to receive support and did not receive any sort of contact back other than “please be kind regarding this matter and we will be in touch” for them to literally never contact me. We ended up getting a room at the best western, to our surprise we were much more impressed with that. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a rental.

It was a great cabin experience. We enjoyed our stay there. After booking with VRBO I realized they are booking via Vacasa. I would recommend booking it from Vacasa to save VRBO platform fees. The cabin was nestled in the mountains in Schweitzer. It had all amenities but the one that was unexpected was they provided coffee machine but do not provide coffee grounds or filters. So carry them with you if you plan to brew your coffee.

Experience Fantastic. Accommodations dirty and uncomfortable. Location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately the cabin was extremely dirty. We camp outdoors during the summer so are used to dust and bugs. We did not expect multiple spiders. Yes, it’s the mountains but never had this experience with other Schweitzer rentals. The cabin is beautiful in general—only our group’s opinion that it needs a deep cleaning. Dusty logs throughout. Condensation discoloration on loft bathroom walls. Easily wiped off with a wet cloth (checked an area near the light switch.) We chose not to bring our dog. To our surprise, dog poo on patio with the barbecue — noticed immediately upon arrival because we were barbecuing for dinner. Another cleanliness issue. Everyone complained that the beds are miserably uncomfortable. Cannot have an adult on upper bunk. Sags with weak supports under upper bunk mattress. Didn’t use the hot tub. Received a call on our way that crew had emptied out and refilled water and chemicals. Didn’t heat up until Saturday evening. Bummer. Also contacted Vacasa prior to arrival about previous reviews about the heat (uncomfortably hot in loft and freezing in basement) and the lack of hot water for showers.) We were guided to spread showers out, which we did. Max 3-4 minutes of hot water before freezing. Frustrating for cold skiers. Two showers total over the weekend for 6 of us. Loft was miserably hot for sleeping. We were expecting heat comfortable throughout sinc

This is fairly nice place to stay. We liked the location, the amount of space and it was generally nice. However, we felt like price we paid was a bit premium for the lackluster service provided by vacasa. For example, we were only provided 2 dishwasher packs for 5 days and were told vacasa is not a hotel by their service and we had to buy our own. We also informed vacasa of a slow leak from the top shower down into the bunk room and they told us to simply put a towel in the bunk room before it could get fixed. Overall, we had a great experience at the mountain and will come back again but will try a different location.

Overall we had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was finding the property itself, nothing on the road gave us a clear indication we were in the right place. Took us almost an hour to find the place. And we called for assistance we were not given clear instructions. But the Cabin was spacious and beautiful and exactly what my family needed for a peaceful getaway away from our fairly busy lives.

We were there for my daughter’s wedding. The cabin was beautiful. It has everything you would need. There was a lot of room and very comfortable. The best part was coffee every morning with the local deer! They walked up to the fire pit near the balcony and would stand there and stay while we had coffee and breakfast!

Had a great time staying at this cabin and the property managers were great to work with! The only thing is that there were several chipmunks that were in the cabin when we arrived. The property manager thought there was only 1 (turns out there were probably 3) and left a trap out for it that was much too big to catch it. They didn't really follow up on it, but it did provide some hilarious moments for us and will definitely be a fun memory to look back on!

The log cabin is gorgeous with amazing views.. The hot tub overlooking Lake Pend Orielle was a welcome reprieve after a long day of skiing. The layout was perfect for family time and meals, as well as providing areas to do different activities. The location is perfect for taking walks and a very short walk or drive to the village. We will be planning another vacation here in the future.

We stayed in November of 2021. It was so fun to be in the snow and literally wake up in the clouds. There were only two of us who stayed in the property, but it would've comfortably slept many more. It was nice to have a garage to park in since it snowed every day. I recommend an SUV with 4-wheel drive if you're visiting during the snowy months as the driveway is a bit steep. We had a Toyota 4 Runner and did just fine. Great property and would recommend!

This home was beautiful inside and out! Excellent views and a great location made our weekend wonderful! The owners left clear instructions for everything! 10 people stayed with me and everyone was had a blast. Some members took the opportunity to go mountain biking and we were able to spend some time on the water as well. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Sandpoint/Schweitzer area, this is it!

A beautiful home! We really enjoyed our stay. The home itself is very nice, with a nice view of the surroundings and Lake Pend Oreille. The road leading to the home and the driveway itself were plowed daily. There is a spce adjacent to the home that we used for sledding with the kids and making snowmen. It's just a short walk or drive to the village and the ski lifts. There was plenty of space for our group. Thank you for making this beautiful home available for our group.

We've stayed at this rental before and we will again. It has every amenity we could want and is beautiful and spacious. We've stayed at numerous places at Schweitzer for over 15 years and this is at or very near the top of our list.
