Great location, nice apartment. Poor communication with owner they don’t reply back for extended periods of time. Never replied back to the fact that the door doesn’t latch on the apartment unless it’s locked.

Not quite up to snuff

This is a bit of a rant in addition to a review. Sorry to clutter up the review but it seems relevant to add context. We were in town for the Ironman Triathlon and chose the unit primarily for location - which was perfect - right next to Athlete Village and all race activities. First off, the unit is a bit mislocated as the street address and listing is on W. Water Street but actually it is a first-floor unit opening onto W Shoreline Dr. which was perfect for our purposes. Unfortunately, if you were looking for a view of anything but a wall and a street you would be disappointed. The unit seemed new and was very clean. The stay was fine but there were several minor issues that should be addressed to make the stay 5 star. Most concerning was poor communication leading up to the rental. It is obvious from previous reviews and our experience that management pays zero attention to the VRBO app as repeated messages were ignored. We finally reached them via their phone number and their employees Lindsey and Jesse were very friendly and mostly accommodating. Problems we encountered in no particular order 1) check in instructions were not correct with the lock code for the inside door incorrect and the wifi instructions also incorrect 2) The inside door lock was squirrely at best as neither us nor the cleaning crew able to operate it cleanly – we eventually just left it unlocked as we were concerned we would get locked out at an inopportune time. 3) Keurig coffee maker inopera

The location was great and the apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were some issues with communication. Any message sent through Vrbo app wasn't returned, I finally called their "emergency" number and was able to talk to someone. The Wi-Fi network listed for the property was never available, and was never resolved even after speaking with someone. The pullout couch is broken, so we were unable to use that (thankfully I brought a blow up bed just in case for the kiddo). There were no paper products in the apartment except for a minimal amount of toilet paper, and no kitchen towels for washing/drying an dishes used. The cleaning crew did leave paper towels and toilet paper outside the door while we were gone the next day. Also the coffee maker didn't work. Nothing was an absolute deal breaker, just slightly disappointed. I would possibly stay here again because of the location, I just hope they fix the issues.
