SUPERHOST - Superhosts zijn ervaren, hoog gewaardeerde gastheren die zich inzetten om gasten een geweldig verblijf te bezorgen.

Postkantoor bevindt zich om de hoek aan de overkant van de straat waar bus- en veerbootpassen kunnen worden gekocht en loop vervolgens een beetje verder langs de baai, Cambridge resort met restaurants en bar in het resort!

Country Squire Restaurant en Pub ligt aan de overkant van de straat met Spirit store naast de deur. Apotheek en Mangrove Gym zijn naast de deur. Aziatische Delight en Mr. Kip zijn op steenworp afstand en vanaf daar zijn supermarkt, Misty afhaalmaaltijden en coffeeshop die vanuit het appartement is 10-15 minuten lopen of 2 bushaltes.

Royal Naval Dockyard ligt op ongeveer 7 tot 10 minuten met de bus met alles wat je maar kunt bedenken, inclusief een veerboot naar Hamilton of St. George!

Met uitzicht op Mangrove Bay, Somerset Village, Sandys, waar u kunt ontspannen en genieten van de eenvoudige manier van leven die gezondheid en wellness bevordert door middel van fysieke activiteiten en ontspanning, waaronder culturele ervaring.

Sandys is de meest westelijke parochie. Het is vernoemd naar Sir Edwin Sandys die grote investeringen deed om de parochie begin 1600 te koloniseren. De naam van de parochie wordt uitgesproken als 'zand'. Sandys heeft vijf eilanden die worden verbonden door bruggen. De eilanden zijn Ireland Island North, Ireland Island South, Boaz Island, Watford Island en de grootste van allemaal, Somerset Island. De Royal Naval Dockyard, waar de meeste cruiseschepen voor anker liggen, bevindt zich op Ireland Island North. De parochie is het verst van de overvolle Hamilton City en biedt verfrissende stukken en sereniteit die snel verdwijnen in de door toeristen bevolkte Bermuda.

GEMAKKELIJKE TOEGANG TOT BUSSEN EN VEERBOOTEN met bushaltes zowat recht tegenover het gebouw vanuit beide verkeersrichtingen en het veerstation om de hoek.

We loved our time at this property! The unit was beautifully setup, amazing view all day long, convenient access to bus, walkable to beach and Breezes restaurant. And to top it off the host is great too and even coordinated our transportation to and from airport. Highly recommend!

Paradise Found

Jody was wonderful and always around to answer questions to provide odds and ends we asked about. He even stepped in and offered to be our cab to and from the airport. I’ve stayed in many different apartments across the island over the years and this one tops them all when it comes to decor and cleanliness. The appliances were all in perfect condition and were full size too! And you can’t beat the view of the water. Having a spot to park our scooters was very convenient and the bus stop is steps away for those who prefer the bus. The ferry dock and grocery store are quite close too. We easily walked to Cambridge Beaches to rent our scooters (nicer models than they rent at Dockyard). Could have eaten there too, but that was out of our budget. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings, listening to music and tree frogs, while watching the traffic and people passing.by.We definitely hope to return!
We rented the apartment on the right that included the little sitting room out front.
We parked our scooters in the little nook in the back, accessible from the side street.

The location was very convenient to the post office to buy our bus/ferry passes, the bus stops, grocery store and swimming beach. Our host, Jody, was very helpful and provided us with transportaion to and from the airport. The studio apartment was perfect for our needs. Plus a very nice view too.

Best Vacation Ever !!

Perfect !!! Can’t wait to stay again next year. I cannot say one bad thing about it. We took the bus right outside the about the culture fancy resorts but way better. Can’t wait for next year !!!!!

Great relaxing week!

We had a great time here! The apartment is very comfortable, has a lovely view and a great shower. We made good use of the kitchen, too. Jody was always friendly and responsive, and helped us set up rides to and from the airport. We had an excellent time and absolutely recommend this place!

Friendly Hosts and Pleasant accommodations

Very cute studio with a nice view of Mangrove Bay. I loved the fact that the bus stop is right outside the apartment. It was easy to take the bus 2 stops up to the grocery store for our food supply. We also could do a short ride in the opposite direction to the dock yard to get the ferry or to do some tourist activities like the dolphin quest. My older mother could not walk far so having the bus stop so close really worked. Our hosts were wonderful and always available to answer questions. We almost didn't make it to our flights because of all the cancelations. They were a big help in getting us there and going out of their way to do so. Both Jody and Kathy were wonderful. I would definaitly book this apartment again.

My husband and I spent a week in Bermuda and thoroughly enjoyed having our own quiet space in this Vrbo. Jody was a fantastic host. We got bus passes at the post office right across the street and utilized the bus stop across the street as well. This made transportation throughout the week a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

The host Jody was great, the property was soo nice overlooking the ocean. The bus stations right outside your door. you could walk to scooter and boat rentals. plus there were multiple beaches within walking distance as well. you will feel like you’re a local staying here 😍

Jody and Cathy were AMAZING!!! They even made us homemade baked goods (fingers crossed that their new bakery downstairs is up and running by the time we go back), and gave us a ride to the airport. Was wanting to stay in the Somerset area for 3 weeks so this was a perfect location for our needs. Well set up for a longer term stay with great kitchen facilities, balcony, close to buses etc. would highly recommend for anyone - especially a longer term stay.
