SUPERHOST - Superhosts zijn ervaren, hoog gewaardeerde hosts die zich inzetten voor een geweldig verblijf voor de gasten.

Postkantoor bevindt zich om de hoek aan de overkant van de straat waar bus- en veerbootpassen kunnen worden gekocht en loop vervolgens een beetje verder langs de baai, Cambridge resort met restaurants en bar in het resort!

Country Squire Restaurant en Pub ligt aan de overkant van de straat met Spirit store naast de deur. Apotheek en Mangrove Gym zijn naast de deur. Aziatische Delight en Mr. Kip zijn op steenworp afstand en vanaf daar zijn supermarkt, Misty afhaalmaaltijden en coffeeshop die vanuit het appartement is 10-15 minuten lopen of 2 bushaltes.

Royal Naval Dockyard ligt op ongeveer 7 tot 10 minuten met de bus met alles wat je maar kunt bedenken, inclusief een veerboot naar Hamilton of St. George!

Somerset Village, een kleine, slaperige en pittoreske gemeenschap, was ooit een drukke haven aan zee die de Mangrovebaai omgeeft. Het water is glashelder en perfect voor een snelle duik of u kunt gewoon genieten van een wandeling op het strand. Wandel langs de smalle straatjes aan beide zijden van Mangrove Bay weg en vindt u vele pastelkleuren huizen met houten balkons, de kleine winkels en de slaperige levensstijl van de eilandbewoners.

Exim Appartement voor gasten, nieuwe, volledig gerenoveerd met alle voorzieningen, met uitzicht op de turquoise wateren en zeilboten van Mangrove Bay. Bushaltes zijn in de voorkant van het gebouw aan beide richtingen maken het zeer gemak naar het eiland tour, hetzij over land of zee. Een ferry station bij Watford Bridge is slechts een lopen.

Ofwel wandelen, hardlopen of fietsen door mooie "Railway Trail"
 
Paar stappen over de weg is 'Somerset Long Bay Beach', die een eigen lokale ervaring biedt. Het witte zandstrand, zwemmen in de buurt van de kust met panoramisch uitzicht op de noordelijke kust van het eiland dat niet krijgen meestal komt vol met strandgangers, kijken naar de mooie magische zonsondergang elke avond.

Jody was an exceptionally wonderful host! From the day we booked (June) right to our final day, he was great with communication, he ensured we had everything we needed at the unit, and even provided travel to and from the airport! He kindly gave us tips and tricks for our stay on the island, and checked up on us mid way through the vacation to make sure all was well. :)

Our host, Jody, was exceptional - professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Located close to the ferries and across from bus stops. Great quiet area with grocery stores and restaurants within an easy walk. The rental is beautifully furnished, very clean, and spacious.

We loved our trip to Bermuda. The location was perfect and we got to know the area very well after staying there for 10 nights. The busses to the dockyard and to the city/beaches are just outside the door, so very easy to get around. We loved walking to Somerset long bay beach and spent quite a few hours there during this trip as it was only a 10 min walk away. There is a bargain store next door for any quick needs, and they are very friendly. There are chargers for your electric car rental if you choose to rent one during your stay. The bed is super comfortable as well. Our hosts were so responsive and helpful during the stay and were very quick to respond. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for us :)

A wonderful stay in Bermuda

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Jody’s place. From start to finish (literally), Jody made our stay so simple and easy. We stayed in Bermuda over the big holiday cup match where most things on the island are closed. We didn’t realize this when booking, but Jody was so beyond considerate that he offered to bring us to the grocery store before it closed on our way home from the airport (which he also picked us up/dropped us off from) so we would have the things we needed for the upcoming holiday. These incredibly nice gestures to make sure we had the best vacation as possible continued through our entire trip. Just a lovely, helpful human being with a beautiful home that overlooks an amazing bay. Like I said, we could not be happier with our stay and are absolutely looking forward to booking another stay at Jody’s place. Thank you Jody & Cathy!!!

Paradise Found!

We really enjoyed our week at this property. Jody, our host was more than helpful to us...from pick up from the airport, giving us an informative tour as we drove to Mangrove Bay, and he even stopped at the local grocer for our weekly supplies. The property is right at the bus stop, which we used extensively to visit all parts of the island. The property and the host really contributed to a wonderful week in paradise!

Jody's Place is an excellent place to stay. Close to excellent transportation the island has to offer. As it is on the main road it can be a bit traffic noisy, but it never interfered with our rest. Jody is a mindful property manager. You are across the street from Cambridge Beaches Resort with all sorts of great restaurants. Catch the sunset from Breezes! Bermuda is very expensive...but worth it.

Favorite Hideaway

Great location and amazing host! Beautiful views of the water, nestled in the quiet Mangroves Bay. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. We had an electric car that we were able to plug in with no issues. This is our 2nd time at this location. Across the road is the bus stop for convenience. Love this place and definitely will be back again.

I cannot say enough nice things about the great and friendly hospitality we experienced! Jody, he is the nicest man EVER and was so helpful in so many ways! Kenny, who he recommended to pick us up at the airport, made our 45 min. ride so enjoyable as he discussed a lot of the sights and scenery along the way. Very comfortable space, felt more at home with every passing day. Even had 2 bottles of wine waiting for me, to start my bday! Great location, gym and liquor store, across the street and Cambridge beach resort within walking distance, to rent our scooter. This island is SO BEAUTIFUL!! Looking forward to returning! PG and SP

Awesome week

We had a great time. The location was perfect. It was as described. The only downside was the lack of restaurants in Somerset. We were OK with that because we only have breakfast in our unit which had a full kitchen. It is right across the street from Breezes restaurant at Cambridge Resorts. A great place for dinner and sunsets.
