'Where do I start on the wonderful stay we had at Hacienda del Sol? We arrived late for check in, but it was not a problem at all as the considerate staff at this wonderful B&B left instructions on how to get onsite, where to park (for free), and codes to the property and our room door. We had a large warm and very welcoming bedroom with a fireplace, a comfy couch and a rocking chair. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi style soaking tub, and a separate shower and toilet. 'This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!'

'I showed up, and the hotel was filthy. The front office area was super HOT and they had a waterfall with old dirty standing water. We went to look at the swimming area, as my grandkids were with me, and there was mold in the tiles, and the slides were terribly dirty. I decided immediately that I could not let my family stay in this place.'

'The cabin was beautiful inside. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Just a short walk from our cabin was an awesome fire pit with free s’mores and corn hole boards. We would definitely stay here again.'
