Buenos dias Antonio Gracias por tu apreciacion y tus comentarios. Sentimos que hayas tenido algunos inconvenientes. Cuando damos la bienvenida a nuestros huespedes por telefono siempre les decimos "si teneis algun problema o necesitais informacion, contactanos por favor e intentaremos solucionarlo". Sois los unicos huespedes desde que hemos empezado a alquilar Marona en 2013 quienes han comentado sobre el riego de sus plantas por el vecino de arriba. Si nos lo hubierais comunicado, podriamos haber hablado inmediatamente con nuestro vecino quien es amigo nuestro. En cuanto a la guia para los huespedes, tal como dice al principio "Aquí hemos puesto un poco de información preliminar y, más abajo, hemos dado más detalle por orden alfabético." Hay 3 paginas de las cosas mas importantes (con informacion basica y solicitudes de como mantener Marona en buenas condiciones para todos los huespedes) y el resto contiene informacion mas detallada y menos importante por orden alfabetico por si se necesita. Si ya sabes compo hacer funcionar el aire acondicionado, el wifi y los electodomesticos, no hace falta mirar la guia. De hecho algunos clientes simplemente nos llaman si desean alguna informacion. Gracias por haber cuidado bien Marona - habeis sido unos huespedes muy considerados. Muchas gracias. Peter y Lucy

Well it's not very often that a review makes our eyes mist up, but this one did the trick! Thank you so much! You are absolutely right about the time of year. famous last words and all that, but the weather is pretty reliable until the end of October, and even then it can be really good. We have dined al fresco in January and this January our great nieces (7 and 5) even paddled in the sea (although not for long it has to be said!). On one day the temperature was 21 degrees... Spring is also a wonderful time in the Costa Brava - there is wild fennel and asparagus in the woods, the town is lively but not heaving and there is still a lot to see, do and experience. Sorry, getting a bit carried away! Your review is really evocative and we are sure it will help a lot of future guests in their holiday planning. You were exemplary guests and we really do hope that you will come again to Marona and explore a little more of the wonders of the Costa Brava. With warm regards, Peter and Lucy

We like our guests to feel as at home as possible during their stay, and also to get the most out of Sant Feliu and the surrounding areas, so your generous feedback means a lot to us. We realise you were only there for a short time and were busy spending time together, but we would have been very happy to send someone over to check the a/c. It was new three years ago, using the latest technology, so, as long as all of the windows were kept shut, it should have been able to keep Marona very cool, even given the abnormally high temperatures... We have tried to ensure that Marona caters for guests regardless of the time of year in which they come to stay as we have so many guests who come for the cultural and sporting pursuits (like the golf!) as well as the summer sun-worshiping. The parking spaces in the garage are very Spanish - ie geared towards smaller cars, although they are fine (with a bit of a squeeze) for guests who want added security. personally, we always park on the street too - much more convenient! We want Marona to feel like a proper, comfortable, home rather than a place to crash at night whilst on holiday, so your feedback has made us feel we are on the right track. You are correct that the more residential apartments and developments don't have loungers etc round the pool (they tend to like to keep everything tidy so you have to take your loungers away when you leave!), but we hope that you used our loungers, either by the pool or on the beach. And isn't Sant Feliu fantastic?! An authentic market town with all of the amenities but with far less of the tourist crush and associated noise and dirt. Thank you very much for your review and for your kind words about Marona. We agree that the location and situation of Marona is a real plus - the proximity to everything important whilst being just far enough away to avoid too much noise etc is the best of both worlds. We have furnished Marona with comfort in mind, so that guests can feel completely at home. Funnily enough, we have just been discussing changing the bathrooms for next year but, if we do this, our rental rates will inevitably rise as we are currently very competetive compared with other properties of this quality.
