Amazing destination very close to Sorrento. The views are gorgeous, rooms clean and comfortable, and extremely friendly host.. Pool was refreshing and plenty of space for the intimate setting. Pictures dont even do it justice. I would definitely send friends and family here (already recommended). I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The father and son owners were very helpful and inviting. This property is a hidden gem in a well located area in the Amalfi Coast. Great amenities and lovely decor! Would definitely recommend this property because of the hosts and facilities.

We were warmly welcomed to this haven in the hills and that warmth and helpfulness continued through our stay. Great suggestions what to do and took us to the station at the end of our trip. The room was spotless and comfortable , the views were breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent.

This property is very nice with beautiful views of city and ocean. We felt very relaxed staying here with wonderful service. The owners were very helpful answering questions about visiting the area and helping us to get us a transfer back to airport. Breakfast was very good with good service. We were sad to have to leave and would love to return.

So many things were unique about this bed and breakfast. First the host Luigi and his son Ugo were so friendly and thoughtful. They made you feel so welcome! Your room will also have an unforgettable charm from the seaside artwork to the panoramic view of Sant’agnello and the ocean. To truly get the most of your stay I would spend a few afternoons just out on your large deck/patio taking in the views, reading a book or soaking in the sun. What a tremendous opportunity to get the relaxation you need. After a morning or early afternoon in Sorrento or neighboring towns it is good to retreat to your oasis in the hills of Sant’agnello.

Local knowledge - everyone seems to know Luigi and you always get the best price! - always available to help. We loved it. Amazing Stay
You will not find more accommodating hosts than Luigi, Ugo and Daniella. You will feel like you are family and not a guest. Luigi gave us a hand drawn map of Capri on an 8x11 piece of paper and labeled and numbered the order of the spots we should visit. That piece of paper is going in a frame because you can not buy souvenirs or memories like that. The location is up in the hills of Sant'Agnello and delivers amazing views of the Bay of Naples. The location does cause a challenge if you do not have a car but with the local bus picking up and dropping off near the B&B and Luigi and Ugo providing shuttle service from 8-11 on the hour, it is manageable. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were lucky enough to garner one of the rooms with a view of the Bay of Naples. Breakfast each morning was a nice assortment of local meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread and pastries. There were also several juice, tea and coffee choices. They also offer various services for a fee and we took them up on the laundry service as we were five days into a 12 day vacation and wanted some fresh clothes. I highly recommend staying at Casa Mazzola and hopefully we will get the opportunity to visit them again as well.

A beautiful Italian retreat with charming hosts
A wonderful stay with Ugo and Luigi at Casa Mazzola. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and looked after - it felt like our 'home' for the whole duration of our stay. The B&B itself is charming - the rooms are spacious and clean, the view of the bay is stunning and the host services were impeccable. It's worth noting it is a bit far out of Sant'Agnello, however both the local bus and the B&B shuttle service made getting around very simple. We got the bus or shuttle to Sant'Agnello most days and then walked into Sorrento - the walk takes around 20/30 mins, but I believe there is a bus you can use. Overall, a terrific stay at Casa Mazzola - we wish Ugo and Luigi all the best and hope to return one day!

Luigi and Ugo went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Luigi provided valuable local information on sights and recommendations and saved us a lot of time and money. The free shuttle to Sant Angelo of an evening was very helpful as it is a little bit out of Sorrento. It was so nice to come back to the peaceful, relaxing vibe of Casa Mazzola after crazy days touring and the view from our room was next level! Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cette maison d'hôtes parfaite à tous points de vue: - la proximité de tous les sites intéressants dans la région - une maison agréable dans un beau jardin avec une déco très originale, oeuvre de Luigi - une grande chambre très propre, claire et lumineuse - une vue exceptionnelle sur toute la baie de Naples et le Vésuve - un petit déjeuner complet avec charcuteries, fromages, de délicieux légumes, un choix de très bons pains et bien entendu les incontournables gâteaux et pâtisseries - maison - de tout petit déjeuner italien qui se respecte Mais la cerise sur le gâteau, la raison de revenir absolument pour séjourner à nouveau à la Casa Mazzola ... c'est l'accueil, la gentillesse, la disponibilité extrêmes de Luigi et de son fils Ugo. Un tout grand merci à eux deux pour le séjour parfait que nous avons effectué chez eux.. Luigi, j'ai bien noté que je dois revenir à l'automne prochain pour cueillir les olives et gagner ma bouteille d'huile ...:-))

The best place to stay on the Sorrento peninsula
We had a fabulous week at Casa Mazzola. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by Luigi - which set the tone for the whole week. The house is great - beautiful rooms with Luigi's art work throughout and also access to the pool terrace, which has a view of the sea to die for. Breakfast is great with Ugo's cakes a real centrepiece. It is a real gem of a place to stay - so close to all of the attractions of the Sorrento peninsula and Amalfi coast, yet far enough away to be a real quiet retreat, removed from all the buzz of Sorrento. The biggest attribute which sets this place apart is the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts - Luigi sat with us every day to help us plan what we wanted to do - and it is advice worth following. The free shuttle service in the evening also meant that we did not have to take the car out and struggle to park when going out for dinner. We could not recommend this place highly enough.

Super séjour dans la charmante maison de Luigi et Ugo. La Casa Mazzola est située à une dizaine de minute de Sorrento, bien au calme avec une vue splendide sur la mer. Ce qui nous a particulièrement plu, ce sont l’accueil et les conseils de Luigi et Ugo pour les visites, les restaurants ainsi que leur gentillesse. A recommander absolument pour visiter les environs de Naples, Pompei, Capri et la Côte Amalfitaine.

Det var vores første rejse til Italien, og man må sige, at de to værter Ugo og Luigi er den bedste reklame for landet. De er hjælpsomme og altid villige til at komme med tips og gode råd til, hvad man kan se, og hvordan man gør det bedst og billigst. Selve Casa Mazzola ligger med en fantastisk udsigt over Napolibugten og Vesuv. Det ligger et godt stykke fra byen, men der går bus lige uden for døren og Luigi henter gerne, når man vil hjem igen. Hvis man er til strand, så tag bussen til Meta. Den kører lige ned til strankanten. Vi havde lejebil, men lod den stå og tog bussen i nærområdet, da trafikken er fuldstændig vanvittig i området. Det kan sagtens tage 1.5 time at køre 20 km. Ellers læs alle de andre strålende anmeldelser af stedet. Det var derfor, vi valgte det, og vi blev ikke skuffet.
