The Highlands area is high above the city near The Mesa, a beloved area of Santa Barbara with a relaxed, local vibe and proximity to Santa Barbara City College too. Within minutes, guests can be at Shoreline Park or the beach, renting paddle boards at the Harbor, ordering an iced latte at Lighthouse Coffee near Lazy Acres Market, or downtown shopping and sightseeing in mere minutes. Under volume ceilings, the great room is a welcoming space on the entry-level with a large stone fireplace, adding warmth and a quiet glow. Nano doors slide wide open, offering seamless access to terrace dining overlooking the pool and grounds below. Both a Green Egg and Weber Grill are provided. Can't wait to jump in the lap pool before breakfast or take a quick dip in the hot tub after dinner? A spiral staircase from here leads down to the pool terrace. (More details will follow below!) The dining room table seats up to eight guests with proximity to the stunning kitchen. As the gateway to culinary creativity, the kitchen is well-equipped with serving pieces, glassware, professional-style appliances, and a clever cookbook collection for the curious culinary connoisseur! A designated "coffee and cocktails" station with a built-in Wolf espresso machine, wine cooler, and other coffee pots, grinders, cups, and mixology tools will please the seasoned baristas and bartenders.

Also on the main level, the primary suite embodies elegant comfort with another stone fireplace, television, private terrace, and uber-comfy king-size poster bed. Pack well, including something special for evenings out, as there is a fabulous dressing room to showcase it all beautifully. The en-suite bathroom features dual vanities, a spacious walk-in shower, a freestanding soaking tub, and a sliding door to the terrace. Completing this level is the laundry and a powder room.

Downstairs, two suites offer equal caliber experiences, one with a king-size bed and desk, the other with a queen bed and cozy reading corner. Both have en suite bathrooms, televisions, and French doors to the expansive mid-level terrace with outdoor seating under a large market umbrella. From the mid-level terrace, step down to the mezzanine with a fire pit and hot tub overlooking the expansive grounds below, the glistening pool taking center stage. Chaise lounges and another seating area offer respite and a place to watch pool activity. Under a massive pergola, the built-in grill area and dining for six will become the favorite spot to gather and relax. Even on cooler nights, restaurant-style heaters are available on demand at the flip of a switch. For child safety and inclement weather, there is a retractable pool cover. In the two-car garage is a designated workout space with various exercise equipment, weights, stationary bikes, benches, and bands.
