We loved our stay. The house is nice and spacious and as described. The hot tub was great and yard was private and lovely. We loved riding the provided bikes to the nearby beaches. I would definitely choose this property again.

Beautiful and cozy
This home was so clean and inviting. The first thing we noticed was the mesmorizing smell of jasmine surrounding the house and the beautiful flowers and yards. The home inside was very tidy and super well organized! I personally loved all the labels everywhere to help us know where to look in the kitchen. Our 3 year old daughter loved finding all the toys, crafts, and gamesin the garage and we also loved spending time in the yards running, exploring, finding "treasure" and playing soccer. My husband and I loved relaxing in the hammock. We used the hot tub once and it was magical, wish we had done it more but our days were pretty full! We loved how close the house was to the beach and it was only a short drive away from some other highlights of Santa Cruz. Cathy was so easy to get in touch with and was always available to help out if we needed adventure advice or help with anything in the house. All in all, this home was incredibly comfortable and relaxing and we would definitely recommend it and know it will be our first choice if we visit again in the future. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Wonderful stay
Great location and very well maintained property. Plenty of real green plants and flowers that make you feel at home. I am most impressed by the flower pot found on the kitchen counter top, first I thought they were fake flowers, then I realized they were beautifully arranged bunch of fresh herbs, it has rosemary, mint, thyme, basil and others that I can't name of. They are all fresh! It is simply amazing. To top it off, the flower pot is painted with some of the herbs, how approporicate!

Bright Beach Cottage with beautiful yard
Stayed at Cathy's place for Spring Break with my sister and two nieces. The house is lovely and clean with a beautiful backyard and front yard full of flowers. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower as well as the beach bikes. Fresh flowers, herbs and lemons were a special touch in the house! Cathy was wondering to work with and the neighborhood is close to Pleasure Poknt area.

Best Week Ever!
This home gave us all the comfort and rest we needed. I love to cook, and the kitchen was fabulous. All the beautiful flowers and plants, bird feeders, hot tub, hammock were so comforting. Could you please double check that the directions address says 354 because I think it says 350. Marcus went in your driveway at first.

Christmas with Family
Our son, his wife and baby daughter live in Capitola. Our younger son and his fiancée flew down from Oregon to join us (we flew in from Texas) The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which delighted us and our granddaughter. We were able to prepare and serve family meals so the family members living in Capitola could join us as well. The house worked perfectly for our needs - sleeps 4 people but accommodates 6 adults plus a baby for meals and family time. We were very pleasantly surprised that there was a highchair stored in the garage. While it’s one bath, there’s a pocket door between the shower and toilet; this allows other family members t use the sink and mirror as needed The owners were Very responsive and while there were a few requests concerning the use of the house, there weren’t as many as we’ve experienced elsewhere.

Comfortable with all the modern amenities
This property was a really great stay for our family. We were traveling with an 18 month old and it had everything and more to keep her safe and entertained with special toys. The place was spotless- so clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is great if you are looking to do some cooking. It is fully stocked with every possible piece of kitchen equipment you can imagine. Overall, the place was very cozy and comfortable. We were able to relax and the neighborhood was walkable and safe. Great coffee shops just up the street (cat and cloud).

Wonderful Long Weekend Stay!
Our stay at Cathy’s property was perfect. Check in and check out was very easy and Cathy was very helpful. We were dropping our Freshman off at UC Santa Cruz and the house was a great base for both getting ready for drop off and exploring Santa Cruz. Beds were comfortable and the living room was great for relaxing. We loved walking down the street to watch the sunset over the beach. Will try to stay here again when we visit!

What a cute place!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Pleasure Point at Cathy's lovely home The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with kids (ages 10 and 5), particularly a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, with everything we needed to prepare meals. I appreciated the coffee grinder so I could fresh- grind some local beans from Cat and Cloud and Verve (both nearby!). Our kids enjoyed the grass area in the front and the hammock in the back, perfect areas for them to play while we prepared meals, as well as all the outside toys and beach toys. Having garage access was a big plus, to keep our bikes and for easy access to the house. Thank you Cathy for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon.

Charming beach home- loved all the flowers
The house is cozy and was perfect for our 7 night stay! The location was absolutely amazing- we walked with our 3 year old to the beach daily! Thanks for the beach toys and wagon! We were going to use the house as a home base to do more walking and shopping but, the house was so nice to be in the outdoor spaces. We just lazed around in the garden. Quick walk to the beach was very convenient with littles. My three year old and one year old loved the toys. My ten year old loved the games.

I cannot say enough about our stay and this property…every last detail was thought of and present…we have two large trucks but they both fit in the driveway off the street…such a comfort knowing we would be tucked away for the night…the white picket fence that bordered the enclosed yard was a blessing…two little ones could play out front while i read on the front porch sitting in a Adirondack chair with comfy pillow, supporting my back, surrounded by wildflowers and hummingbirds… Or I could easily watch them from the kitchen sink out the beautiful windows… The house itself is airy and sunlit throughout with beautiful plants to make you feel at home… A fireplace that you will find stocked with firewood, inside a comfy family room with lush pillows and fluffy blankets… TVs that can easily stream any of your favorite programs… The little touches in the kitchen were amazing… To find hot chocolate supplies, waiting along with extra keys to the front door… everything from coffee to cooking supplies to a warming drawer in the kitchen made it easy to feel at home… Off the kitchen is the entrance to the garage, which was like walking into a candy store… Washer and dryer, laundry baskets, bicycles, ice chests, beach chairs, board games, books, toys, wetsuits, water, shoes, and the list goes on… I couldn’t believe how perfectly appointed every detail was… My kids love staying in the sunlit bedroom with two twin beds… The back deck along with the spa and hammock made for wonderful memories… There’s even a fire pit right off the outside dining table… I can’t wait to stay again… the neighborhood was amazing and could easily walk to multiple beaches… Pleasure point pizza, and the pleasure point market were wonderful and friendly… Don’t hesitate… Book your stay here immediately

Even with some crazy weather we had an amazing time with this home as our home base. We traveled both north and south exploring the coast. It was a rainy weekend, but we definitely enjoyed our time visiting with our son who is attending UC Santa Cruz and with friends in town. During the one day of sun we enjoyed the cute little backyard and spa, and when it was damp we enjoyed to comfort and coziness of the house. The home was exactly as described. It is a wonderful place to stay. Hot tub, fireplace, great kitchen, comfortable living room with surround sound TV. One block from the beach. This is the perfect place for a family or couple who wants to relax after seeing some of the sights of the California coast. I have stayed in homes from Iceland to Australia, and this was one of the best.

Sorry about the twin bed not being comfortable. Most of the guests who sleep in that room are little ones as the house is set up for small families. I put a new mattress in and realized that the frame was cracked holding the bed. Probably from little ones jumping on the beds. Thanks for the input. Cathy

Sweet, welcoming cottage that goes above and beyond!
We loved this location for our family of four! It is centrally located, clean and updated, and has all the touches that make it feel like home and the vacation TLC you are hoping for! My boys loved the twin bedroom, hammock and space to spread out in the great room, and my husband and I enjoyed the private master and hot tub! I loved the herb and flower bouquets - such a sweet touch!! We met the owner on our way out and she is wonderful!!
