We got the honeymoon suite. Upon arrival we were told to not use the jets in our in room jacuzzi tub because they have pipe issues. The water doesn’t stay hot for too long and the shower head is located at about 3 feet off the ground. Awkward showering. The view in the room and balcony was great.

They had to switch my room up at the last minute which was okay I guess. Also, be prepared to pay parking. Considering I paid about $300 per night to stay there, it would be free but it was $30 per day. Otherwise, I'd say it was a nice room close to the boardwalk.

This is a funky old motor hotel. Located on the hill above the boardwalk, it was still very close to the pier. It was a great stay except after booking, they added in $66 for parking for two days and wanted $25 more because they chose to put us in a room with a whirlpool bath. Just charge me what you want to charge. Don't nickel & dime me after I have booked & paid.

Danny, the manager, was one of the highlights of my stay at the Edgewater. I’ve been staying here since I was a young child, and decided to come back to stay with my husband. He was welcoming, personable and was knowledgeable about every question I had. The Edgewater is a truly classi, nostalgic inn that provides you a clean, comfortable space right next to the ocean. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the hot tub jets did not work, which was the only thing that was a bummer. Other than that, the space was clean, well-kept, and had great views off of the balcony. I would recommend the Edgewater to anyone who wanted a comfortable place to sleep, quick access to the boardwalk and pier, and a great management team to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I love the Edgewater!

I knew we were going to get a bad review when we contacted you about your outstanding bill of over 740.00. You snuck in two dogs you stole a blanket you smoked in the room you remove the smoke alarm you left burn holes and burn marks on things and vomit all over the bathroom. We have contacted the police department with regards to your theft and vandalism. We have plenty of photographic and video evidence.

The internet was so shotty we couldnt watch the roku set up on tv. We had to watch tv with basic cable. The walls were so thin in our room we could hear every word our neighbors were saying and their blasting tv made it so we couldnt sleep. We asked to owner to do something and nothing. We ended up getting out of bed at midnight and driving home. We didnt even stay. Horrible experience and will never go back.

First of all you never talked to the owner. They are now on property at that time. The manager did go down and ask the room next to you to quiet down and offered to move you rooms. We have it on video that she went and talked to you at your door and the room on the other side. You were also told that you could move rooms. So to say nothing was done is not correct either.

The room was really small especially for the price....and the neighboring rooms sounded like they were right inside with me. That part was terrible.

Its way to expensive to spend the night there. We were charge for parking $33 for night and $20.00 for day time and for our dog $66.00 per night extra besides the $645.00 we pay for the night. Smelly cabinets.

There was food left in the microwave from previous occupant.. the comforter had blood stains on it.. for the price of the room I would expect more but the location to the beach was perfect. I’m not sure I would stay there again..

My family and I had reservation at Casablanca Ocean view but expedient overbooked so instead they put us at this Edgewater motel which it was disgusting it was dirty there was no heat there were ants it was a motel I will never stay Edgewater again and I will never use Expedia again instead of booking me on a 4 to 5 star hotel which I had booked and paid for it they put my family in a motel it was horrible, I paid for a four-star hotel and my family stayed in a one star motel you’ll figure that out.

The property is walking distance to beach & boardwalk. Location is fantastic. The room was great, private bedroom w/ kitchen & 2 twins (trundle). The down side was the noise. One can clearly hear neighbors talking or playing their music.

Cute place.
Property was quaint. A little outdated and small but it was perfect for a romantic weekend. Did have a nice big new tv although we never used it! Also great location! Staff was friendly also.

Throwback comfort to the days of old.
Located right across from the beach and short walk to the boardwalk, this quaint throwback motel was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the style and look of the place. The staff were super kind and helpful as well!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was dirty the ceiling had cobwebs. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were almost empty, no lotion. Small little details that shouldn't be over looked especially during this pandemic!

h this hotel. The Room itself was nice receptionist was also nice. Kind of upset with the low water pressure it took 40 minutes to fill up the Jacuzzi tub. I made coffee the following morning it smelled a little odd so I checked in the coffee maker water Reservoir. I found multiple pieces of what look like very moldy food left inside the water reservoir of the coffee machine. I brought it to the front desk in the Lady was very apologetic. Then I noticed a very scantily clad outfit that was draped over the chair. Which did not Belong to my wife or children. Obviously the Room was not cleaned very well. Which is a big concern of mine due to covid 19 exposure. Half used roll of toilet paper is very unsanitary. I Have called to speak with manager multiple times with no return call.. Not very professional in my Opinion.. I am licensed to remediate mold . And am very aware of the health risks and concerns of ingesting mold . I think the owners need to look into how their establishment as being ran

The location was perfect with great views of the wharf and sea, the room was charming with a fireplace between the bedroom and the bathroom keeping the place toasty warm. Only complaint is that the jacuzzi tub had broken before we arrived so no jets. That being said, the tub was comfortable and perfect for soaking for two! Staff was wonderful!

Horrible service. They didn’t have the room I booked for my entire family, 2 bedroom suite. So they tried stuffing us in a one bedroom for 6 people. Wouldn’t cancel or give refund. BEWARE of shady businesses like this. And the room smelled horrible. Like years of MOLD, I wouldn’t stay here ever. We stayed at the DREAM Inn which was incredible.

First of all you booked a room for 6 people, you showed up with 8 so we offered to upgrade you for free to our only room that sleeps 8, it has 2 bathrooms and a bedroom just like the one you booked. It does not smell at all. You booked a non refundable rate, we have to abide by the contracted rate and polices. Next time you book a room maybe you should be honest about how many people you are bringing.

Not on the edge of any water. Tiny little dark hovel of a room. Mattress that has seen better days. One partial roll of toilet paper. One of the worst stays I've ever had.

We loved the honeymoon suite but I just wish everything worked..we still made the best out of it.. the view was amazing and in the early hours Of the morning once the traffic is gone you could here the waves crashing with the window and patio door open! We have a great time!

When the guest in the room next door calls the office at 1:39am because you are being too loud, yes we ask you to quiet down. You signed at check in that we expect people not to disturb others. You were asked politely, I feel that you are over exaggerating since you didn't pay $650 for the room either. I have proof, the phone call logs and the video tape of you partying outside you room till 1:30. I can also provide the invoice of what you actually paid. So I have proof the your review is not the complete truth

Spectacular place to stay!
The Hotel was superb! We fully enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hotel staff was beyond friendly and the grounds with the flowers and Independence Day decorations made us feel very welcome. We could have stayed longer but couldn't. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

It had an invasive feel about it. There was no privacy unless you closed all the curtains and blinds. There was a court yard connecting 4 rooms, so you look right into someone else’s room. The inly bathroom window opens up into the court yard as well. Staff was friendly, most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, 5 stars for that

We stayed two nights in the honeymoon suite. The pics do not do this property justice. It is very comfy, well maintained and in an awesome location. It definitely felt like home while we were there. Lori at the front desk was awesome, so kind and helpful. We definitely want to go back!
