Na een volledige dag van het verkennen van de historische Santa Fe, zult u genieten van zittend op het terras, badend in de kleurrijke zonsondergang in New Mexico. Binnenkort word je afgedekt door de onvergetelijke nachtelijke hemel van New Mexico.

Santa Fe Get-Away is een perfecte thuisbasis voor uw Santa Fe-avonturen, of u nu hier bent voor kunst en cultuur, buitenactiviteiten, uitstekende Santa Fe-gerechten of opnieuw contact maakt met uw dierbaren.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt als je ervoor kiest om een deel van je eigen maaltijden te koken tussen de bezoeken aan de authentieke zuidwestelijke restaurants in het historische Santa Fe.

De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed, een inloopkast en een privébad van 3/4. Het heeft ook een glazen schuifdeur naar de patio. Aan de andere kant van de gang vindt u de tweede en derde slaapkamer - een met een koningin en de andere met twee tweelingen. De tweede volledige bad is gunstig gelegen voor gemakkelijke toegang voor deze twee kamers en de woonkamer.

De keuken, eetkamer en woonkamer versmelten om een warme, comfortabele plek te creëren voor uw familie en vrienden om samen te komen, bij te praten en te genieten van wat tijd samen.

De uitgestrekte achtertuin heeft een groot terras met buiten eten en leefruimte. Het kijkt uit op de bergen Sandia, Ortiz en Manzano en de heuvels van Cerrillos. De patio biedt bijna elke nacht een spectaculaire zonsondergang.

Als gasten heeft u toegang tot het hele huis, de tuin, de patio en de garage.

Er is een gesloten kast in het huis, voor onze schoonmaakspullen, en een afgesloten schuur naast het huis, voor onze tuin gereedschap.

Deze accommodatie grenst aan de Eldorado greenbelt en Santa Fe Railtrail, zodat u vanaf uw deur kunt wandelen, wandelen of mountainbiken. Speeltuinen en het buitenzwembad gemeenschappelijk zwembad (alleen in de zomer), tennisbanen, basketbal / handbalvelden zijn allemaal in de buurt voor uw plezier.

Het historische Santa Fe Plaza ligt op 20 minuten rijden van ons huis. De Santa Fe Opera ligt op 25 minuten afstand en Ski Santa Fe duurt 45 minuten. Daarom wordt een auto aanbevolen, hoewel er een stadsbus is die regelmatig naar Eldorado komt en er een mountainbikeroute is die Eldorado met Santa Fe verbindt.

Onze buurt heeft verschillende restaurants, een paar winkels, een bibliotheek, een tankstation, wandel / fietspaden en een buurthuis binnen een paar mijl van ons huis.

Home Away From Home

My wife and I and our pups had the very best time at this beautiful home! First, the property has the most incredible views. Early morning coffee outside looking at the mountains, watching and waving at the Sky Railway as it goes by, the Georgia O’Keeffe clouds with the sunsets, and the star gazer’s best stars. Our two dogs, McMurphy and Lucinda, loved the views and being able to roam free in the backyard with all the desert sights and smells. The trail access for walking is fantastic as well. We saw a coyote one night and heard them the next!The kitchen has everything you could ever need (so we picked up some groceries at the Eldorado supermarket and grilled out and cooked to stay in and relax on some nights). If you need something from the hardware store, a brew from the Santa Fe Brewing Tap Room, an outdoor patio pizza at Upper Crust, a gas tank fill up, or an easy drive into town, the location is perfect. While still being away to unplug and enjoy the desert green space.The beds are comfortable, the garage access was appreciated, the water pressure was excellent, the laundry facilities were helpful, and the patio and hot tub were a dream.Erika, our host, was so helpful and friendly! We felt very taken care of, knowing our hosts’ proximity in case we needed anything. We have found our home away from home and cannot wait to come back again soon!

Perfect VRBO in Eldorado at Santa Fe

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was just as described. Especially enjoyed the proximity to the walking trail and the beautiful sunsets. Also liked watching the birds visit the bird feeder and bird bath. Great yard for our dogs.

My family enjoyed the house in peaceful neighborhood in El Dorado. Fenced in back yard for dog was nice and watching sunset from patio was beautiful. Plenty of room for my family if 5. It’s all about the view!

The sunsets were too beautiful for words. Sitting in the evening with a cocktail as the sun dropped behind the mountains and with a coffee in the mornings as the sky took on a rosy glow became our favorite activities. The kitchen surprised me with a complete collection of spices and great cookware.The king size bed was warm and comfy and the decor was enticing.

Lovely property but problems with hosts

We arrived in a snowstorm and were snowed in for days. Hosts shoveled walkways but did not clear the driveway so we could not leave the property in our car. They did bring us groceries in so we had food until we could get out. Some small things were wrong with the property, and then the roof leaked for two days in the living room. The house is comfortable and nice, and the fenced yard is great for dogs. Although the snow made is nearly useless for ours. After checkout, Hosts accused us of having smoked marijuana in the house, which was a total falsehood. They wanted $300 to clean the “smoke” that hadn’t existed. This was upsetting after a stressful storm and being stranded. In sum—nice house with great views, but be careful of weather and of accusations of nonexistent violations.

Excellent Property

The house was well cared for, nice, and very functional. We appreciated the view, especially at sunset and when the stars came out. The back patio was a very nice place to sit with coffee. Erika, the host, was easy to deal with and very helpful. I am not sure we will return to Santa Fe, but if we do, we would be happy to stay here again, Staying in Eldorado is of course a compromise between proximity to Santa Fe and a more natural setting. But it only took about 15-20 minutes to get to Santa Fe, which we found to be perfectly fine. Options for meals around El Dorado are somewhat limited, but there are some very good options nearby, especially for breakfast/brunch.

We had a positive experience from start to finish in this attractive home. The rental was spacious, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Birthday get together with friends

I would highly recommend this VRBO. We rented the house for a long weekend to meet our good friends for a birthday party and to catch up with each other. This house was perfect for a small gathering. The main area was very spacious with comfortable chairs in the TV room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to have a birthday party. The owner left us a big bag of ice in the freezer and some Santa Fe coffee for our morning coffee. Loved the coffee. The back yard porch was very comfortable with enough chairs and a large dining table for everyone to sit and relax. We loved getting up early in the morning for coffee and to hear the coyotes howling. All three bedrooms had comfortable beds. Each room had a chair and there was a full bath with the master bedroom and a shared full bath shared by the two other bedrooms. The house was close to a grocery store, Upper Crust pizza and Fusion Tacos for lunch. Driving distance to the Plaza was easy and quick. Erika, the owner was very helpful and very respectful. She really wanted to make sure we were comfortable and we enjoyed her place. Overall, this rental was a perfect place for us to rent.

Erika was extremely responsive and very helpful with tips and suggestions during our stay. The home was the perfect base for our quick visit to Santa Fe. There is a lot to explore and enjoy in El Dorado and downtown is a quick drive.

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this very nice house. The decor is fantastic and you are made to feel very welcome. There are so many little touches like flowers, potted plants and cushions and blankets which show the fantastic hospitality. There is a very nice Roku TV with good soundbar and subwoover. Wlan is very good. Each room is equipped with a good working air conditioner. The temperatures in May were still very moderate, but on the last few days it was still 82 degrees, so we needed the air conditioning. Erika and her husband are very eager and friendly to help immediately and comprehensively with any problems. The location of the house is very beautiful in this desert landscape. The style of the house and the landscape create a very nice atmosphere. It was absolutely quiet at night. In the nearby Eldorado supermarket we got everything we needed and even a few specialties from Germany were available. We really enjoyed our stay in Eldorado and would love to come back.

Our New Mexico Getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with our family (group of 6). The house was perfect in size, everyone had plenty of space to hangout as a group or have downtime in one of the bedrooms. We did quite a bit of cooking, the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils which we really appreciated. We loved the patio! We enjoyed having our meals/drinks outside, especially in the evenings as the sunsets were absolutely amazing. The location of the home is in neat area, you have plenty of privacy but can easily get to hiking trails, shops etc. We would definitely come back and stay here again! Thank you Erika and Rudy!

This property is wonderful. Just the respite we needed. The Santa Fe sunset never disappoints and watching the Roadrunner Train chug by to Lamy was particularly fun. Property management was easy to reach and work with when there was a bit of a hiccup. Super fast response time and a pleasure to work with. Our little dogs loved it too.

Wonderful home and location

We have stayed in a few homes in Eldorado, and this one is the best. So comfortable, clean and great location. A nicely stocked kitchen. The garage is an added bonus. Erika and Rudy, the owners, were absolutely lovely to work with and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We appreciate their hospitality. A Great Home Base for Exploration

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It couldn't have been better for viewing the sunsets, eclipse and star gazing. The location was extremely convenient without any issues around parking compared to staying in the Santa Fe proper. The house was well equipped, and I particularly enjoyed the plush bath towels. While there were neighbors, there was also separation and privacy. We would highly recommend staying here. The host was vey communicative and provided good information for dining.

The home is an older home with Southwest charm. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan worked well for 4 adults. The common area, kitchen and outdoor covered patio were comfortable for all of us to use. The house is far from the city lights, so the stars at night were amazing! A coyote choir serenaded us each night.

It is very close to the rail trail, to one of many Eldorado Greenbelts and the Sky Train passes by on its way from Santa Fe to the Galisteo Basin - which is lovely and fun. This is a small house with small bathrooms. Most important are very comfortable beds, bed linens and fluffy towels. Erica and Rudy are responsive and communication is excellent. We were there when the community pool was open and welcomed the pass to swim there. There is only one table in the house and that is the kitchen table, so there is no other workspace for writing or working on the computer. The bedrooms are very close to each other at the end of one hall, so if you have a full house, it does not give much privacy. And you will rely on overhead ceiling fan lights in the bedrooms, with small spotlight lamps for reading. The kitchen has most things one needs including instant pots, blenders and a wok. You will have to bring your own spices and oils, however, as there are none other than salt and pepper. The skies at sunset are beautiful and once it is dark, stargazing is fantastic. The house has air conditioning, but has such good cross ventilation that if you pay attention to lowering shades and closing windows on the side of the house in sun, you may not even need it on the warmest of days. We enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular View

This property is a private little piece of paradise. The views are gorgeous (we had every meal on the patio), the hiking trails are endless, and the proximity to the city center is perfect for a family that wants to get away but not be too far from the excitement! The owner is excellent with communication, the property was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfy! There’s a little grocery store in the neighborhood where you can purchase essentials. The neighborhood pool is excellent, and the playground for littles is loads of fun! We highly 10/10 recommend this property!
