We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. We had a problem with the coffee maker and they immediately sent up a brand new one. The aot was very clean and cozy. Close to downtown and the plaza. We highly recommend staying here! 👍

The location is good, the rooms spacious. I found the room a bit stale and stuffy and I resent being hit with a 25.00 per night users fee for use of pool , parking, internet. I was staying one night. Restaurants several blocks away. Had to seek help getting luggage to room…not offered, not good for a senior woman loaded down with suitcases.

Hi Danna, yes we do charge a 25 resort charge that covers premium wifi, parking, 24 hr coffee station access, sporting equipment and DVD rental. It is posted on your reservation confirmation and your reminder from Expedia before arrival as well.

Quite, clean and easy access to everything in town. Very friendly staff that provide great service. Can walk to Plaza in less than 10 minutes. Great dining options within minutes in every direction.

I have stayed there before. I love that it is close to downtown and shopping center near by. The pool was under construction, but I love staying there. The only downside is parking fills up fast. It is a very nice place to stay and staff members are very welcoming.

The TVs in both rooms did not function, one had a remote control that would not connect to the TV and the other lacked the remote control altogether. The coffee maker Is outdate and so is the sofa. The furnishings could use upgrading, but the staff were super nice and helpful. Overall it is was a good stay.

If you travel with an elderly person who needs assistance, don’t stay in this hotel. We booked two rooms, one was for an 86-year old lady on a wheelchair. We asked for an ADA room and were told they didn’t have any. We were given a regular room with a bed too high for an elderly person to get on. Then, they told us that they had an ADA room that we could have, so we moved the elderly person to that room. The bed in the ADA room was just like that in the regular room, so, we asked the housekeeper to help us set up the sofa bed in the living area. She said she would go get one of the guys to help since she didn’t know how to work it … she never came back or sent anyone, so we figured it out ourselves. The only good thing about that room was the grab bars in the bathroom, which were very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and only minutes by car from the plaza. If you don’t have mobility issues, this hotel would be convenient given that it’s not as expensive as the other ones.

We were finishing up our vacation and chose this property based on the reviews. The pictures do not do it justice. Our kids thought this was the best of the 6 hotels we stayed at during the week. Having a separate room with separate beds made them extremely happy. Everything was clean and beautiful. The only complaint I could come up with is the parking, but it wasn't too bad, we just had to park across the street. Everything else was perfect.

Terrible booking experience (but hotel was great)
I reserved a room at Villas de Santa Fe through my Hotels.com account and everything seemed normal. I arrived at the hotel and they had no record of my reservation. I called Hotels.com customer service, got passed around to a couple people, and landed with a relocation specialist. He said he would contact the hotel and see what was going on. I was standing in front of the hotel’s front desk manager the whole time and no call ever came. The relocation specialist then suggested that the only solution was to send me to a different hotel. I was standing in the lobby of the hotel I’d booked, with the manager who said they had plenty of rooms available, and you suggest I leave and go somewhere else? Unbelievable. I ended up getting a refund for my booking and booking directly with the hotel. I had to pay a higher rate, and I didn’t get my rewards points, plus I wasted nearly an hour on the phone. But the hotel was large, clean and comfortable and Isaiah the hotel manager was polite and patient. Incredibly disappointing experience overall, to the point where I may think twice before booking through Hotels.com next time. But I would definitely stay at Villas de Santa Fe again.
