Great location, right in the center of Downtown Santa Paula. The Inn did feel a bit dated, especially the rooms. Bedding and room decor were a bit vintage for our taste, and some of the window curtains seemed very old. There was a smell in our room from something, but after running the ac for a bit it cleared. For the most part the room seemed clean. There were a couple of stains here and there on the furniture and curtains. The room came equipped with a mini fridge and microwave which was great to store any drinks or make some late night snacks. The bathroom was overall better than the room. It was definitely remodeled recently which was nice! Large tiled shower and vanity, super spacious. We wish the rest of the room had the same updated look. One thing that did take us by surprise was that the whole stay there was no one at the front desk. Also the locks on the doors were wobbly, and didn’t seem to lock very well at times.
