We were disappointed by our stay to be honest. We loved the island but didn’t like the hotel.
Summary: Good views, but not at all worth the money you pay.
Our suite said it sleeps 4 … but they charged us an extra EUR 100 when we arrived because we were a family of four and somehow our booking had defaulted to two adults. They insisted that they would have to redo the room for four people and charged us the extra $$. However, all we saw they did and returned to the room was that they put a white sheet on the sofa bed … so, my point is that they will nickel and dime you.
We weren’t allowed to use the main Jacuzzi that was right in front of our suite, but were asked to use another one that was upstairs which was somewhat of a dangerous climb up (no railings to hold onto, slippery stairs, around the Jacuzzi with a 20 ft drop on one side) and inconvenient.
Breakfast was good, they brought it to the room. Good portions and variety, and well presented.
The place is a decently long walk from the main town (15–20 minutes), so plan for this or rent a car from the airport. Our host had said that we don’t need a car on the island, but that is absolutely not the truth. You need a car 100%, especially if you go off-season when there are no taxis available. Much easier to rent a car at the airport rather than paying for transportation back-and-forth.
