Tucked on Lido Key — one of Sarasota's most beloved barrier islands — this home places you at the intersection of natural beauty and cosmopolitan charm. Lido Beach is just steps away, where over 3,000 feet of powdery white sand meets the warm Gulf waters. It's the kind of beach you can walk to in the morning with coffee and return to at sunset for the full Florida experience.



St. Armand's Circle is a short stroll away, offering one of the most distinctive outdoor shopping and dining destinations in all of Florida. With more than 130 shops, galleries, art festivals, sidewalk cafés, and restaurants ranging from casual beachside bites to upscale fine dining, it's easy to spend an entire day simply wandering the Circle. Local favorites include the legendary Columbia Restaurant, Café L'Europe, and a rotating roster of boutiques and ice cream shops.



For nature lovers, Ted Sperling Park at South Lido offers 100 acres of wildlife preserve, mangrove tunnels perfect for kayaking, and four converging waterways teeming with birds and marine life. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium is also nearby — a fascinating stop for families and ocean enthusiasts alike.



When you're ready to venture further, downtown Sarasota is just across the John Ringling Causeway — about 10 minutes away — putting world-class performing arts at the Van Wezel, the Ringling Museum, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and a thriving restaurant scene all within easy reach.



Lido Key is one of the most walkable and bikeable spots on Florida's Gulf Coast. Lido Beach is just around the corner on foot, and St. Armands Circle is an easy, flat walk or quick bike ride away — no car needed for most of your day.



It's 5-8 minutes by foot to the beach depending on which access point you decide to utilize. Here are some options:



8 minutes by foot to the Lido Beach main public access. A little closer is the Ritz Tiki Bar beach access, which is also open to the public, at about 6 minutes away or so by foot.



Even closer, there’s also a beach access that can be found a little close using these directions:

Beach access is immediately after the Lido Ambassador. Walk down Roosevelt to Benjamin Franklin. Turn right. When you get to the Lido Ambassador turn left. Keep walking and you’ll see the wooden walkway to the beach.



The free Bay Runner Trolley connects Lido Key to St. Armand's and the surrounding area, making it simple to hop between the beach, the Circle, and nearby neighborhoods without worrying about parking. Bike rentals are available nearby for those who want to explore further — the path stretches all the way up Longboat Key with stunning Gulf views the entire way.



For evenings out in downtown Sarasota, Uber and Lyft are both highly active in the area, making it easy to enjoy dinner and drinks without driving. Downtown is just one bridge crossing away — roughly 10 minutes by car.



Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is approximately 20–25 minutes north, one of the most convenient airport runs you'll find at any Florida beach destination. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is about 75 minutes away for those with more flight options.



Whether you're walking to the beach, trolleying to brunch, or cycling past the Gulf at golden hour, Lido Key is a place where getting around is genuinely part of the experience.
