Bella Haven ("beautiful refuge") is a favourite getaway for many Saturna visitors.
A bright and airy beach house set on a picturesque half-acre, adjacent to our home.
Overlooking Lyall Harbour, you will have front row seats to spectacular summer sunsets and the ever-changing vista year-round.

It's perfect for one or two people looking to experience the uniqueness of Saturna Island and the beauty of the seasons in the Southern Gulf Islands.

We have sought to equip Bella Haven to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a memorable stay. The open-plan living space, and the many windows, provide a feeling of spaciousness and light.

* We must mention our big friendly pooches, Dudley and Angus!
They will greet you from the other side of the fence, but have no access to your patio or living space.
They may be "vocal" upon your arrival but they settle quickly.

Our beautiful and peaceful setting lends itself to relaxation, but is also a perfect home-base for:

Perfect Getaway Spot

Bella Haven is a beautiful little cottage. It has been thoughtfully set up with everything you need. It's comfortable and homey and full of character. The view is amazing and there are several outdoor spots from which to enjoy it. Every window in the cottage also looks out on the view. The owners were welcoming and very responsive. A 10/10 in every respect. Highly recommend.

First time to Saturna Island and it did not disappoint. This home was the ideal choice for us as a base to explore this unique gem of the Gulf Islands. The island is quiet and a bit isolated and that makes it pretty relaxing and special. Highly recommend this home to rent.

Quiet

Beautiful property and everything you may need was there. Luxurious towels and lots of them. Bathroom is amazing and love the heated stone floor! Even has books on the area’s history. Hosts were great and so were their two dogs.

Luxury getaway on Saturna Island

Bella Haven surpassed expectations (and we are picky). The owners thought of every detail - from gorgeous design, all new and stylish appliances, utensils, cookware and dishes, heated bathroom floor, full sized fidge, dishwasher and comfortable king sized bed...and everything is imaculately clean and well maintained. The unit comes with its own patio, full BBQ, quality Adirondack chairs and the best sunset views on the island. Hosts Rob and Sue are so helpful and friendly. A number of locals said this is the best place to stay on the island and we agree. We will be back!

Beautiful place with an amazing view!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bella Haven and highly recommend it to others. The accommodations had everything we needed, was very comfortable and well-supplied. Beautiful outdoor areas with the patio and surrounding garden, and the seating area out by the water. The location is amazing being right on the water with great sunset views, it was a perfect place to launch our kayak from. Sue, Rob, Dudley and Angus were all super-friendly and a pleasure to meet. Best cabin in the Gulf Islands. Great view down a classic sunset bay with distant mountains. Brand new, very well designed space. Private, but owners there to help out and answer questions.

Beautiful setting for watching the spectacular sunset beyond the bay. With a glass of local wine. Super-helpful hosts. The cottage is fitted out to perfection, from the elegant crockery to the warm throw to the make-up flannel to the information folder. Highly recommended.

A Home Away From Home!

Staying at Bella Haven on Saturna was wonderful! Both the accommodation and attention to detail was excellent.
