It's ok...
Overall this place was ok. The kitchen is nice, but not really stocked with enough cookware to make a nice dinner (need more frying pans). The living and dining rooms would benefit greatly from some window blinds. The sheer, see through curtains provide zero privacy. We had to hang blankets from them so everyone driving or walking by could not see in. The beds are also super uncomfortable. The Flintstones had softer mattresses. My back is going to be recovering for some time. Oh, and someone left a nice healthy dump in the toilet for us to find. The most comfortable furniture is the two chairs, which are on the same side of the room as the TV, so they really arent usable unless you move them. Overall the location is nice and we weren't really bothered at all, but the place just isnt comfortable or clean.

This comment has really caught me off guard as it’s the first poor review we have received out of 100’s of reviews. Preferably, a guest would let us know immediately if there is an issue so we can address it right away as it is our goal for every guest to have a great stay. That being said, we are always striving to improve and will certainly address the suggestions/issues mentioned for future guests.

Our favorite Soo getaway
My son plays hockey in the Soo so we travel here often. Our favorite property is this one. Three comfy beds (one is a sofa sleeper), fans, nice bedding and towels, fully stocked kitchen, close driveway parking, quiet location… it has it all. Very close to the Pullar for hockey families. Close to downtown and the Locks. Dog friendly. Always clean. This is the downstairs unit in a two story home. You can rent both if need more space. Highly recommended.

We love staying here
We stay at this property every time we visit the Soo. We love it. We feel so cozy when staying here. It has everything we need. Our son plays hockey in the Soo and he is so appreciative of home cooked meals when we visit. The kitchen has everything needed for a great home cooked meal. Property is close to the Pullar as well so perfect to walk to games if you wish. Can't wait to visit again.

Cozy, Charming and Convenient
We enjoyed our stay at the Kimball Street VRBO. It was quiet, exceptionally clean, and conveniently located for walking around Sault Ste. Marie. The only suggestion we would make is for a mattress upgrade for the second bedroom.

We had a wonderful time in SSM - we enjoyed our time spent viewing the ships pass thru the locks - our visit to the Valley Camp ship museum and the Tower of History, as well as all the beautiful scenery and delicious food! What an amazing part of the world. Your house was in the perfect location to all the cool stuff - along with being very clean and comfortable! Thank You - we are glad we made the trip!

Comfortable home away from home!
This was our third stay in the last ten months. Highly recommend. The location was perfect for us: a quiet neighborhood, close to historic sites & many interesting attractions. Our son lived nearby on Cedar but has recently relocated to Minnesota so we leave with wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!

Perfect home away from home!
We stayed at this property for a Gus Macker weekend and it was perfect! Just a couple blocks away it was within walking distance to the courts and downtown. Everything inside the house worked and was clean. I have zero complaints, it was all great!

We spent the weekend in Sault Ste. Marie and this rental was a great place to stay. It was spotless and the decor was adorable. Just be aware there is not central air - there is one window unit in the dining area.

Quick Stay
Very nice and clean home, great location for a short 10 minute walk to the canal. One small hiccup during check in but Aimee was very responsive and got it resolved right away. Really appreciated her taking care of supplies and having ample essentials available (little things like not short cutting toiletries, paper towel, etc). If we return to the area, this will definitely be the first place we try to reserve.

Feels like home
This house is situated in a wonderful little neighborhood and is close to tourist attractions as well as the river where you can watch lake freighters, cruise ships and other vessels travel to and from their destinations. The house is close enough to hear the boats as they send greetings to one another on the river. The house itself is within walking distance of several restaurants and many of the area attractions. What a wonderful home away from home.

Pristinely clean and great location
Fantastic location and beautiful and cozy 2 bedroom suite. It was just perfect and there is convenient parking in the driveway. Very clean and beautifully decorated home away from home. We traveled back to the Soo to visit my Dad's hometown. He had not been back since 1955 and this was a perfect place for us to stay. It allowed us to have leisurely breakfasts and restful evenings and walk to all the key sights. Just an amazing stay and great host!

Went up north to the Soo to visit my brother and decided to bring the whole family (wife and three young kids). Aimee was great to communicate back and forth with before and during stay. House was very clean and great fit for our family. My sister and her family of 5 stayed in the unit above us. It was perfect. The little details of the home were great, tastefully decorated, big screen and newer TV, basket of toys for the kids (which kept them more occupied than one would think). Great home, great stay, great weekend Thank You!

10/10 rating for this property, way better than a hotel. The home was super easy to locate, parking was ample, nice quaint neighborhood, extremely well-kept place with lots of space. Especially liked the kitchen to make our own meals, as well as the downstairs laundry. Beds very comfortable too! Would stay here every time we are in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Host very good to work with and very accessible during the process.
