Penrose - Beach House with Direct Beach Access

Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Penrose, a wonderful beach-house boasting fantastic sea views, direct access onto the award-winning Saundersfoot beach and off-road parking.


Occupying a prime location on The Strand in Saundersfoot, Penrose provides the ideal space for a family holiday at any time of year. The incredible far reaching coastal views can be enjoyed from most windows, with a balcony off the living area offering a wonderful space to relax as the waves lap onto the beach below.


Penrose is just a few minutes flat walk from Saundersfoot's delightful range of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The scenic working harbour is also within a few minutes walk and, being right on the doorstep of the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path there are some beautiful coast path walks to be enjoyed in either direction.


Saundersfoot has so much to offer that we doubt you will want to leave - if you do decide to explore further afield, the seaside town of Tenby is just a 10 minute drive away and Penrose is centrally located for enjoying the best of Pembrokeshire's diverse beaches and coastal path as well as the many family attractions nearby.


Penrose enters into the hallway with doors to all rooms and stairs to the upstairs accommodation.


Ground floor:


Kitchen/Dining Room


Well-equipped with all you will need for your self-catering holiday including electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher. Large dining area comfortably seating up to 8 people plus a small sofa looking out onto the terrace. Patio doors lead out onto the large terrace with direct beach access, and there's even an outdoor shower to wash sandy toes after a day at the beach!


Utility Room


In the utility room you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge-freezer.


Shower Room


The shower room downstairs has its own shower enclosure, toilet and wash hand basin.


First Floor:


Lounge


Relax on a comfortable sofa seating for up to 8 people with large screen Smart TV. You will find sliding doors which capture the picture-perfect views and lead out onto the balcony - an amazing place to watch as the boats come and go from the harbour.

A bedroom with a double bed and built in wardrobes providing ample storage.


Bedroom 2


A bedroom with twin beds (can be made into a super-king on request) and a window seat which looks down onto The Strand below.


Family Bathroom


The bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower attachment as well as a separate shower enclosure, toilet and wash hand basin.


Second Floor:


Bedroom 3 with en-suite


A bedroom with a double bed and built in wardrobes for ample storage. The bedroom has access to ensuite which comprises shower enclosure, toilet and wash hand basin.


Bedroom 4


A bedroom with a king-size bed and drawers for storage. The bedroom has access to ensuite with shower enclosure, toilet and wash hand basin.


NB: Bedrooms on the second floor have low sloping ceilings as shown in the pictures.


Outside


The large patio terrace can be accessed off the kitchen/dining area and here you will find garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and taking in the sea air, while the children play on the beach. Steps down from the terrace provide direct access onto the sandy beach.


You will find parking for up to 2 cars at the front of the property.


The cottage is centrally heated and offers WiFi throughout.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such r

Lovely family holiday stay

Perfect Location , house was clean & had every amenity including cot & high chair . everything was high quality showing the obvious attention to detail of the owners even down to the coffee beans provided for the coffee machine . we cooked most nights & had everything we needed (followed by the dishwasher! ).we take home great memories .
