Onze Hideaway biedt 20 hectare privacy, uitzicht op de bergen, een verfrissende stroom, alle aangrenzende nationale bosgebieden, WOW!

Deze afgelegen authentieke blokhut met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ligt op een groot stuk ongerepte bergwildernis omringd door de Mt. Yonah en het National Forest. Wandel naar een vredige bergbeek die grenst aan het terrein of loop in het National Forest aan de noordgrens in deze rustieke parkachtige omgeving.

Herten, wild Turkije, zwarte beer en de nachtelijke geluiden van Owl komen vaak voor bij deze retraite op de rand van de rug. Op 2200 ft hoogte heeft deze eigenschap het allemaal, berg briesjes, eeuwige bergbeek en een jaar door uitzicht op Mt. Yonah. Deze hut heeft vakmanschap van de oude wereld met alle moderne gemakken die u zou verwachten. Grote stenen open haard van vloer tot plafond in de woonkamer om die koele bergavonden te verwarmen. De charme van een houtkachel in de master-suite om de vroege ochtend te laten afkoelen en die eerste pot koffie te verwarmen.

Schilderachtig uitzicht vanaf 3 overdekte veranda's, een grote grillruimte en een groot beschut paviljoen. Natuurbrandkring in campestijl / kampeergedeelte dragen bij aan het gevoel van een Rangerhut op een afgelegen natuurreservaat.

Slechts 6 mijl van buizen en vissen in Alpine Helen, Georgia. Onze Hideaway is binnen een paar minuten van The Appalachian Trail, waterval treks, kajakken, kanoën, wereldklasse white water rafting en enkele minuten van vele North Georgia wijnhuizen! Praat over een wandelmekka, maak je laarzen klaar! Na je avonturen is er volop winkelen en dineren in het centrum van Helen. Pak een biefstuk voor de grill van Betty's Country Store en deserts van de Duitse bakkerij van Hofers en begeef je terug naar je Hideaway om te ontspannen, bij te tanken en het avontuur van je volgende dag te plannen!

Was a narrow way up to the property but does not disappoint. Everything was great and all the amenities were spot on! We enjoyed the area immensely and on our last morning a young bear sauntered by the kitchen window. Truly magical!!

Al little fishing and a lot of relation

If you want to get away, have privacy and just chill this cabin is for you. The property owner was very communicative, the property was peaceful and it was only a few miles from Helen and the surrounding area. We got in a little trout fishing and a lot of eating, visiting wineries in the area and a lot of eating! I definitely recommend this property. The cabin was clean and what you expect a cabin to be like.

Fun family time

This cabin was the perfect location for our family getaway. Minutes from Helen, GA, and other tourist sites, but tucked away on a mountain top with beautiful scenery, deer wandering by, and woods to explore. Check-in was easy, the cabin was well stocked and met all of our expectations.

Perfect weekend getaway

We traveled here with our adult children for a short weekend getaway. The area is lovely. The cabin is even better than pictured. Stocked very well with all you can think of. It was immaculate which is huge for me. The beds were very comfortable and the living space was perfect for 6 of us. The deck overlooking the property with the rockers and swing was a hit. We enjoyed sitting out there in the morning. Karla was very communicative and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Even the neighbors down the hill were very nice and welcoming. We loved Serenity Winery on Friday night and would highly recommend checking them out. Helen was very touristy, but the surrounding area was beautiful with the wineries and hikes and little shops. We'll be back!

My family stay at The Hideaway Cabin October 10-13. Everything was great! The cabin and grounds were very clean and there were plenty of amenities. The host, Karla, was very hands-on and the communication between us was great. There was plenty of room for my family. I highly recommend The Hideway Cabin for your next mountain getaway!

Birthday getaway

The Hideaway is a serene escape, perfect for a restorative getaway. You'll capture glimpses of deer, be serenaded by the sounds of nature, and may even see an owl. Everything we needed was at our fingertips or a quick call to the supreme hosts.

Perfect Hideaway

Karla and Jason have the most amazing Log cabin hideaway in Helen! Everything was beautiful inside and out. You have all the convenience of home but in a cozy cabin. The outside grounds look like a magazine. The views are breathtaking. We celebrated our anniversary here and we highly recommend this beautiful place. We will be back!!!

Spring Break in the Cabin

Where do I begin?! Karla and Jason were the absolute best hosts! We were actually gifted a stay from one veteran to another and then we bought a raffle ticket and won another stay and decided to add on a third stay, so we were there for 16 days! The house could not have been more perfect! Everything imaginable is available to you in the kitchen so when you arrive, bring nothing except the clothes that you need. There is a wonderful grocery store called Ingles that is close by and very affordable. Karla can get you fresh eggs from a local neighbor also when you stay! My husband is slightly handicapped and Karla made sure to accommodate some of his needs. They made sure that there was a ramp for him to access the home easily and having a downstairs bedroom was also very accommodating! There are two nice size bedrooms upstairs, along with a full bath, and the couch pulls out in the living room, and is actually quite comfortable! We had fires in the fireplace just about every night! do not buy firewood in town make sure that you get it from Karla and Jay for a small fee you can have firewood readily available! There was an absolute adorable swing out front where the grandchildren enjoyed themselves every day! Lots of birdfeeders to watch the birds and we even watched the deer come up and snack on the bird feed! Absolutely beautiful surroundings! We did not want to leave. Thank you Karla and Jason for everything!

THE GOAT!

Impressed! This is a true mountain cabin experience, the real thing! Twenty beautiful acres of mountain living. Explore this estate and the National Forest Land that it borders. You can hike the property and discover streams, springs and views of Yonah Monah. Less than 10 minutes from town for provisions, supplies, pubs and awesome restaurants. At 2000 feet elevation this cabin is sitting atop a mountain range and has everything needed for a natural getaway. Generator, fully stocked kitchen, and even firewood available for purchase upon request. This cabin has it all. Jason and Karla are the perfect hosts, exceeding all our expectations. Perfect In Every Way! They Thought Of EVERYTHING!

We enjoyed our stay @ The Hideaway Cabin. Karla & Jason were amazing hosts. When requested, we immediately received an email with some of their favorite restaurants and several "must do's" during our stay. We completed most of their suggestions but will be booking another stay next month for more exploration. The cabin was fully stocked, more than any property we have booked before. We had a blender, toaster, a bundt cake pan, a crock pot, air fryer, a wok and even a cute popcorn machine that the little ones loved using every night. The 3 beds were all comfortable, and the teens enjoyed sleeping on a bonus queen pull out sofa bed. They slept by the fire each night, playing board games. It was so relaxing to watch them put down their devices for a bit and just disconnect from technology. Although there are 3 Smart TV's, the kids may have turned 1 on for about an hour. They were so into exploring the property. When we woke each morning, they were already off for their morning hike. We sat on the large covered porch each morning w' coffee, watching birds build their nest, preparing for the birth of their babies. It was so peaceful. You can tell Karla and Jason love their property. From the cleanliness to the attention to detail, they adore this hidden gem. We will be back for 4 nights next month, and I cannot wait. I read several reviews before we selected The Hideaway. Every one hit the nail on the head. I could write much more about our stay. Book Now!

Thanksgiving hideaway!

We loved everything about the stay. The cabin and property are like something out of a magazine. It was far enough out to feel like an escape, but close enough for quick trips in to Helen or Cleveland. Communication and check-in were as easy as it gets. The hosts were kind and genuinely cared about our well-being. Of the places we've stayed, The Hideaway was without a doubt our favorite.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This beautiful and cozy cabin is perfectly tucked into the woods, making it a wonderful gathering place for guys who usually camp together but agreed to a cabin when the wives joined in. We had everything we needed inside and outside! The fire pit was a great place to enjoy each other Friday night; the kitchen served all our needs; and the sunrise from the front porch Saturday and Sunday morning was stunning. Karla and Jason have created an amazing retreat!

Best Little Cabin

Extremely clean, well-stocked, and welcoming cabin. Very spacious and perfect for our family of four, two adults and two teenagers. Location to Helen was perfect; about a 10 minute drive. Loads of wineries nearby. Cabin was secluded in the woods, so it was very quiet. No road noise. You could hear coyotes cry in the distance. Firewood was available for additional fee. I’m already planning my next stay. Owners were very approachable and stood ready to help if needed. Easiest check-in and check-out.

The Hideaway was Home Away from Home

Everything was a total getaway experience. The drive up the mountain, the look and feel of the cabin and the amenities. We chose to unplug and use the cabin as much as we could. We had amazing meals at the cabin and everything we needed was provided to prepare our meals. We explored downtown Helen and had a ball Gem Mining, playing Miniature Golf and visiting the cool shops. This was one of the most relaxing and cool trips we've had as a family! We will definitely be back!! I'm telling all my friends about The Hideaway l!!!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again. Home was nice and property was breath taking. We saw turkey and deer, no bear. We went i to town and enjoyed shopping and eating. With it being a holiday and so many people there were things we didn't get to do. It was nice swinging on the porch and just enjoying the scenery and grilling. This place is awesome. The pictures and descriptions do not give it justice. From the cabin to the fire pit and the gazebo everything is so relaxing and comfortable. My kids actually left their tablets in the house the whole visit. 10/10 would recommend. We’ll be back.
