Ontspan en kom tot rust in deze elegante huis in het hart van de historische historische wijk. Het maakt niet uit wat je brengt naar Savannah, deze eigenschap is zorgen ervoor dat u zich meteen thuis voelen. Deze ruime verhuur is onlangs bijgewerkt om u alle moderne gemakken te geven met behoud van het historische charme. Zodra je aankomt, vergeet de auto, stap de voordeur uit en geniet van alles wat het centrum te bieden heeft, Forsyth Park is net om de hoek en het is minder dan een mijl lopen naar River Street.

Breng uw ochtenden door met een kopje koffie op het balkon met uitzicht op Gordon Street. Eenmaal binnen vindt u de lichte en uitnodigende woonkamer met een queen size slaapbank beschikt over te vinden. Binnen in de goed gevulde keuken, zult u granieten werkbladen en roestvrij apparaten te vinden samen met alle keuken nodig is om gedenkwaardige maaltijden te creëren tijdens uw verblijf. Geniet van wat quality time rond onze grote eettafel met voldoende ruimte voor iedereen.

Vaststelling van de hal vindt u twee slaapkamers en badkamers. In de master rust je hoofd op het pluche kingsize bed na een drukke dag van het verkennen van onze prachtige stad. De aangrenzende master bad is bijgewerkt met een ruime inloopdouche. De riante tweede slaapkamer is uitgerust met een full size bed en een flatscreen tv. In de hal bad, zult u een bad / douche combo te vinden. Dit apparaat wordt ook geleverd met kleine extra's die helpen om uw verblijf nog comfortabeler te maken, waaronder: wasmachine / droger, strijkijzer en strijkplank, barbecue op gas, haardrogers, mixer, Keurig-koffiezetapparaat en GRATIS WiFi.

Reizen met huisdieren? We zouden graag bespreken de opvang van uw viervoetige familieleden, maar verzoeken u contact met ons op voor het boeken van goedkeuring voor uw huisdieren te krijgen. Er is een extra $ 50 huisdier vergoeding per huisdier en een huisdier boekingen gemaakt zonder voorafgaande goedkeuring worden onderworpen aan annulering.

Parkeren: Er is geen speciale parkeerplaats in onze woonstraat, maar parkeren is meestal heel gemakkelijk te vinden. Er zijn verschillende gebieden met gratis parkeergelegenheid in de directe omgeving van het appartement (een paar stappen over Drayton Street op Gordon en op veel van de straten rondom Forsyth Park). De ruimtes direct voor het gebouw worden gemeten. Als u in de parkeerplaatsen wilt parkeren, kunt u een stadsgastparkeerkaart kopen bij het Visitors Center of bij het Bryan Street Parking Services-kantoor.

Came for a dance competition, stayed for a great time!

We've been coming to Savannah for an annual dance competition for several years now. We've never stayed in the same place twice. Our stay this year was lovely from the lodging itself to the location. Getting to the Convention Center was a breeze every day as was getting to River street and any number of fabulous restaurants. We even walked to brunch at the Collins Quarter one morning. Quaint little shops were also a short walk away. As for the apartment itself, the inside of the ground floor apartment was just stunning. Everything was so clean and welcoming. The flowered chandeliers in the master bedroom were gorgeous! I was a little anxious about the lack of a ceiling fan in the master (because I'm addicted to air movement) but honestly, I didn't even notice its absence. If my daughter wasn't graduating (meaning no more dance competitions) we would definitely consider a repeat stay at Balcony on Monterey! My only suggestion for the owner would be to put a nightstand on the other side of the master bed. My husband had nowhere to put his water and phone at night except on the floor. Other than that, the entire apartment is well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. Although parking directly in front is metered, we never had trouble finding non-metered parking in the next block up. Don't let the metered parking scare you away. I promise you will not have any trouble parking for free. Fantastic rental experience!

Lovely and beautiful historic apartment. So well-located, we were able to enjoy the Saturday morning farmer’s market and nearby historic houses. Really loved our stay in Savannah here. The balcony was great to sit outside too!

The primary shower left a lot to be desired with rusted wire racks and old shower heads that didn't seem to work well and dirty wall tiles and grout with what looked like black spots on the sides that we didn't assess further. Also, we could not get the door to stay closed while taking a shower or using the toilet. Please stop just adding water to a soap dispenser to fill it up lol None of blinds in the primary are able to open making it seem more closed off instead of airy and open. We wish we could have seen the water feature outside behind the bed. On the other hand, nowhere had curtains to help keep the sun out. Half the kitchen lights did not work. The sofa reeked of some sort of bodily fluid that made our daughter almost want to add to it. The front porch was an amazing to sit for coffee in the morning. It was a nice gesture to have coffee pods provided as well. The host was very accommodating and responded to messages and texts within minutes. Also, parking in front was free from 5pm Friday through Sunday even though it was told to us wrong. The place was just ok, but the location is what made it nice with only a 2 minute walk to Forsyth.

STILL THE BEST

This is my third stay at this property, and it remains charming. Has that classic old feel with the advantage of plentiful amenities. It is close to everything - Clarys for breakfast, Forsythe Park, easy walk to Bull Street all the way to the river. I love Savannah and it is important to me to be in a property and location that promotes that. With the exception of very loud music one night, it was again another perfect stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Girls trip to Savannah

Property features and overall house were absolutely beautiful! Easy walking distance to all the fun Savannah sights and excellent restaurants. Main issue with home was cleanliness. Living room furniture was covered in pet hair and smelled like a wet dog. Pillows and sheets needed cleaned more thoroughly.

Very difficult to find parking. Could be cleaner. WiFi didn’t work at all. (I understand about the hurricane circumstances) but we should have been compensated for the fact that WiFi was not available. Host was very nice and responsive.

What a gem of a place. Huge first floor home with lots of accommodations. We enjoyed having ample space and being able to walk to Forsythe Park. On street parking was readily available. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a place so rich with history and culture and really immersed ourselves in the area during our stay.

Great quiet location away from the hustle of the crowds. Condo has everything you need with comfy beds and plenty of space to spread out. Had no issues finding street parking. Condo is steps away from beautiful parks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Savannah!

Lovely Apartment in quiet neighborhood

This apartment was just as described. It was spacious and clean. The master bathroom shower could have been cleaner, but other than that, it was clean upon arrival. Charming and located in a quiet area just off Monterrey Square made this the perfect home base for a walking tour visit of Savannah. The windows appear to be original and as such are thin, so expect to hear the neighbors through the walls and ceiling. But well worth the price.

We were very pleased with this property overall. The location is excellent. It's close to everthing, very walkable. The street is gorgeous. The home is very attractive and in good condition. The amenities were good, comfortable beds and furniture. We stayed from Thursday night thru Sunday and only paid $10.00 to park right out front. There were always spaces right outside the building. This was late May/Early June for reference. It was fairly bright despite being on a tree lined street with homes tight on either side. Our only complaint was noise. It's an antique so floors creak and on the second floor we could here the folks on the third floor walking around a bit. It's one door away from a busy side street and the traffic noise is fairly constant at night. It's a city so night time noise is to be expected but a rental closer to a square and further from a side street might cut down on the noise, but maybe not. The first floor unit which we also rented has the compressors for the AC right outside the second bedroom and they were loud. Noise was our only complaint. I'd give the property an 87 out of 100. I don't like Expedia's 5 star system as it forced me to provide a too low rating because a five star implies a kind of perfection that would have been misleading to people considering this property.

Our April 2024 Visit to Savannah

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment near Monterey Square and Forsyth Park in Savannah. We were there for a wedding near the park, and the unit was a five minute walk from there. It was very convenient. Check in was a breeze, the place was spotless, the beds were comfortable and it was great to have two full baths. Great location

We enjoyed the apartment and location. Easy walking to lots of Savannah attractions. The place was quiet. We could have used regular hangers in the closet. Three wire hangers, and one cast off from a clothing store was a bit cheap. We had brought coffee from the NW with us, but had no regular coffee pot. (Keurig in unit). Parking was easy to find street side, and with our holiday/weekend stay, mostly free.
