Gasten die op zoek zijn naar een echte lokale ervaring zullen verliefd worden op de historische charme van Blue on Broughton. Dit huis met twee slaapkamers, gebouwd in 1862, ligt genesteld in de aankomende oostkant van Broughton Street en is versierd met gietijzeren details en blauwgeschilderde dakspanen. Binnenin, een prachtig ingerichte vakantiewoning met alle moderne voorzieningen die naar verwachting uw verblijf comfortabel zullen maken.

De eerste verdieping beschikt over een verbouwde salon met een queensize bed en een aangrenzende woonkamer, compleet met een uitklapbare tweepersoons slaapbank voor twee extra gasten. Deze gasten kunnen gebruik maken van de nabijgelegen half-bad, waardoor het klaar maken van een briesje. Een volledige keuken, uitgerust met alle essentiële voorzieningen die u nodig heeft voor een huisgemaakte maaltijd, ligt net om de hoek en biedt voldoende opslagruimte voor langere verblijven. Een wasmachine / droger zijn ook in het huis - ideaal voor jonge gezinnen!

Boven vindt u twee slaapkamers met twee volledige badkamers. De eerste slaapkamer is voorzien van een kingsize bed en de tweede slaapkamer is ingericht met een koningin. Beide slaapkamers hebben een eigen dressoir, een flatscreen-tv en een eigen badkamer.

Parkeer uw auto op het privéterrein achter het huis en verken Savannah te voet voor de rest van uw verblijf. Blue on Broughton ligt aan de oostkant van Broughton Street: Savannah's 'hoofdstraat', bezaaid met enkele van de beste winkels en restaurants in de stad. Het meest opvallend is dat gasten worden aangemoedigd om te stoppen bij lokale favorieten: Capital Bee Co., Hygge Savannah, East End Provisions en Leopold's Ice Cream.

Hoe parkeer je dit huis?
Gasten ontvangen een eigen parkeerplaats voor 3 voertuigen achter het huis, off-street en veilig. Extra voertuigen kunnen op de nabijgelegen parkeerplaatsen in de buurt van Broughton Street vinden, die van maandag tot en met zaterdag van 08.00 tot 20.00 uur wordt uitgevoerd door de stad Savannah. Gasten kunnen een pre-paid parkeerpas kopen bij het Savannah Visitor's Centre om te voorkomen dat ze met de meters gaan werken.

We enjoyed our stay! It was very clean and cozy. Beds were comfy. Location was great. We had one issue, was able to get ahold of someone right away and they instructed us what to do! The private parking although tight was a huge bonus especially in Savannah. Definitely would stay there again.

This was our first trip to Savannah (a friend's wedding). We were all thoroughly impressed with the town, the location, the house, the food, everything. I never thought I would have liked it so much. My only critique - better yet, a suggestion, is to have darker curtains in the bedrooms. For people traveling from the West Coast, the time change is a little rough. We all felt that we would have slept better if there were blackout curtains in the room.

The house itself is great. Good location and solid furniture. I would highly recommend the owner hire a different rental agency. They were annoying to work with, demanding photo ID and credit card copies, poor checkin instructions, and poor property management. On that note, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the front door lock didnt work (probably a dead battery), and a worker showed up to pressure wash windows with no warning or heads up. And if you reach out, they are happy to give you a canned response or lackluster apology.The owner should really look to treat this like a vacation rental, where it currently feels more like a low end hotel. It is completely bare bones. No coffee, cream or sugar (even motel 8 has these!). About 12 total pieces of dinnerware, 4 bowls, a few plates. I have stayed at campsites better stocked.No games, puzzles, cards, reading material or other entertainment I've come to expect at a vacation rental over the last decade.Would not recommend at this time.

Not what we thought

My family hoped to have a great space in the right location for our trip to Savannah. We were expecting the home to match the description and images from the listing. When we arrived, it felt that this wasn't the same place we had rented online. It had been painted stark white and "redecorated" for the worse- wasn't inviting or relaxing. The home is old- what we wanted and expected. It was everything else that is extremely run-down. The appliances in the kitchen are really old and not what you'd expect after paying a pretty good price. The chairs in the living room had brown wear on the arms and legs from long-term use. The bathrooms are noticeably absent from the listing, and for good reason. Those spaces are "clean" but hardly feel like it due to their age and neglect. Surely this rental company could invest some money into a little updating and refining of this high-potential home. The location was great-quiet and close to a lot. You could only enter/exit through the back door because the front door lock didn't work. On our last day, we came back from a trip to several people standing in the private drive. They were apparently staying on the property next door. They were using the garage directly behind our home, and kept moving throughout the drive. We were extremely confused, as we were not made aware of the garage being used by the neighboring home. We asked for more towels, to which they responded quickly. Overall, we won't be staying here again.

Savannah Stay

They area was wonderful. Restaurants within walking distance. We found a wonderful Italian restaurant 800 feet away also the cafe down the street 400 feet from the house was wonderful. Parking is tight. We found it better to back in (need to watch out for the black poles) I would recommend management doing few upgrades kitchen and bathroom out dated. The vanities are from the 80's with only be 30 inch high instead of todays standard of kitchen height- also kitchen needs updated countertops are tiled(so outdated) and cabinets need fixing. However everything was overall fine. Could be a real cute getting way with a few updates

Accurate Photos, clean, well appointed and in a safe central area. All 5 in our group were extremely satisfied with our 4 evening stay and would come back in a heartbeat. For the area the pricing was fair and we felt super safe. Never needed a car to enjoy all that the city offered. EZ check in! We would highly recommend. Our stay at the blue house

The blue house is beautifully decorated and having 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths for filled our ladies of 4 perfectly. I did discover as I was packing my toiletries under the lavatory in the master suite, there was a water leak under the sink. It would have been nice if we had a chair in the bedroom, to sit and put shoes on. There was traffic noise, but that is to be expected on a main thoroughfare. There could have been a shelve or chest in the bathrooms to give more space for toiletries. Overall, we had an excellent time in Savannah and thank you.

Beautiful Home to Stay in Savannah

I travelled with a group of 5. The home was perfect for us, with parking (warning the drive in/out of the back parking area is pretty tight, we had a 4 door jeep wrangler for size comparison), and just enough space we didn't feel on top of each other. Location was super convenient and we could walk most places. I would definitely recommend staying here

Very nice home and very comfortable beds. My only suggestion is that you should bring a sleep mask if you need a dark room to sleep in. The flood lights pour through every window in the house and the venetian blinds are just not significant enough for nlock.it out.

Extended weekend trip

The property was as described. As expected in the historic area, it is an older house but well maintained and equipped with all the essentials. Check-in was straight forward and communication was good. We received a phone call immediately after booking and again prior to arrival with instructions about access and use of the app. As others have noted parking is a little tricky to negotiate but in the end we discovered that backing in was the trick. The house is located at the end of a busy strip but manages to be a block or two away from where the crowds and shops begin. We only noticed a little traffic noise in the front bedrooms on Saturday night but otherwise fine. There is a fantastic coffee shop a block away (912 Brew) and the location is easily walkable to the River Street area, many restaurants, shops and Leopold's ice cream. The City Market and Forsyth Park are a bit further but also walkable, if so inclined. Our group of 5 had plenty of space and would return without question.
