Third time in this hotel and you can tell how amenities has not been restored or taken care of. Bathroom door full of spots and marks, towels drawers seem about to break, waffle makers outdated and dirty, etc.
Additionally, staff was not as friendly as previous occasions. Had to go down stairs due room key issues and then the woman at front desk told me some handles need to be pull up instead of down. The second day room keys stop working and new instruction was to open the door as fast as the green light shown.
Lastly, WiFi usually works with last name and room number. It did not work and through SMS they explained me another method to make it work.
These couple stuff could have been explained at check in, only taking 2 minutes to explain “what if” situations, taking care of customer and providing good customer service.
Thanks to the employee who helped us during breakfast. She was very kind and patient to explain how waffle makers worked and how much time we had to wait for them to work appropriately.
I really like hotel location because is close to Savannah’s downtown and only 1 hour and 40 minutes to Charleston.
Overall would be a great place if decides to take care of little details to make it cleaner and staff take a couple of minutes to actually take care of customers.
