We do have a set menu for breakfast that changes daily but if we are made aware of food allergies or dietary restrictions, we can plan accordingly for guests. We are glad you had a great stay with us and hope to see you again soon.Because the two town homes that make up the McMillan Inn were built back in 1888, we do not have an elevator but we do have five rooms that do not require stairs to access them. The rooms and common areas are decorated in period pieces. All of our rooms have private baths, thermostat controls, small refrigerators, and coffee makers.

Some of our upper level rooms do have the step-in showers.Breakfast is served in the dining rooms on both sides, which is on the second floor of the house so you would have to use stairs to get to the dining room from all of the rooms. The only exception to that is the Gaston Room which is located just off of the dining room.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us in the Drayton Room. The Drayton Room is at street level on first floor of the house but you do have to come up the front steps of the Inn and then go back down a set of stairs to the room. Because of the three story house next to use that room gets the least amount of natural light of any of our rooms. It does have a window but the view of the wall of the house next door. We look forward to your next visit and will be happy to make suggestions on which room will work best for you for you!

We are glad you had a great stay in the Calhoun Square room. All of our rooms have thermostat controls and coffee makers. Each of rooms have a private bathroom, some with a Victorian style claw foot tub and shower combinations, while others are a shower only. The Calhoun Square, Carriage House, Gaston are the three rooms with a jacuzzi style tub. The fireplaces are operational in the winter months only(usually November or early December to March). We hope to see you again soon for a stay in one of the other 14 room options or the Calhoun Square!!

The McMillan Inn is located at the corner of Huntingdon and Lincoln Street. Two blocks from Forsyth Park and about a mile from River Street. Many sites and restaurants within a 20 minute walk of the Inn. Close to everything with a neighborhood feel that provides a nice sleep quality each evening and enjoying the front porch any time of day.For those who don't want to walk the trolley can pick you up at the Inn, you can use the DOT shuttle, or Downtowner in the evening to get around.

We are glad you enjoyed every aspect of your stay!!A full plated breakfast is included in your stay. The menu starts with fresh fruit, yogurt, and homemade granola. We have a weekly menu so the offerings are something different each day. We have a variety of juices available and coffee by about 8:30 am with breakfast served at one seating in the dining rooms at 9:15 am every day. Peach tea is available in the guests kitchens and treats each afternoon into the evening for guests to enjoy.All of our rooms have small refrigerators and coffee makers. When you are arrive the staff will show you around the Inn and to your room. Our check-in is any time after 3pm but if you arrive early we can store luggage and show you around the Inn. We are glad you enjoyed our breakfast and your visit to Savannah. Some of our rooms have the Victorian style claw foot tub and shower combinations, like the Montgomery Room, which you chose for your stay. We encourage all of our guests to be sure to look at the pictures and descriptions of our rooms to ensure that the room you select, especially when book through any third party sites, meet your needs and requirements. We are always happy to answer questions prior to anyone making reservations. In January, we will be renovating the bathroom in the Montgomery Room, where these guests stayed, to a step in shower to make the bathroom more user friendly for guests who would prefer not to have to step into the claw foot style tub to use a shower. We currently have a number of rooms that have either a shower only in the bath or a separate shower and bathroom tub rather than a combination tub and shower.Those rooms would be the Oglethorpe, the Gaston, the Abercorn, the Calhoun Square, the Carriage House, the Lafayette, and Whitaker rooms. With regards to the hot water turning cold, we did have a full house of guest during the time these guests were with us. We have check to make sure everything is in excellent working order so all guests have plenty of hot water to shower!!
