This hidden gem is positioned downtown in the heart of Savannah’s West Victorian District, featuring stylish and chic furnishings. Cooper Cottage has been tastefully restored to showcase its original architectural features, dating back to 1884. This one-of-a-kind Savannah vacation rental comfortably accommodates up to four people and features on-premise parking and a peaceful private patio.

Park your car, and step inside your new home away from home! Upon stepping inside you'll immediately take notice of the stunning cathedral ceilings, and original windows that create an inviting and airy atmosphere throughout the entire cottage. The original gleaming hardwood flooring used in the living area makes the space warm and comforting, which is also open to the kitchen, so you’ll never miss a beat of the conversation. The Scandinavian style kitchen is equipped with all of the modern conveniences you need to prepare a home cooked meal. Gather together at the chic dining room table or the secluded garden patio, with comfortable wicker furniture.

The full bath has a spacious walk-in shower and is located just next to the laundry area, on the ground level of the cottage. The first set of sleeping accommodations on this level features a comfortable queen-size bed. Enjoy being able to utilize the living room TV, and watch your favorite shows from the comfort of your bed! The loft is located upstairs, and has a queen sized bed you can relax into after a busy day of exploring.

Whether you are here for a short or extended stay, enjoy the modern amenities of home while experiencing historic Savannah, including a washer/dryer, high-speed wifi, and a free, on-site parking space. We had a wonderful stay at Cooper Cottage. It was a great location for our active family of four. It is located on a nice quiet street a block away from Forsyth Park. My husband and I would go for runs in the morning and then grab a coffee from Collins Quarter located in Forsyth Park. The biggest plus was the off street parking and the washer and dryer. We were able to walk everywhere from where the cottage was located, so our car stayed parked except for the times we went to Tybee Beach. We recommend staying at Cooper Cottage.

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our time at Cooper Cottage! The place was so cute, clean and charming. We were just a few blocks from beautiful Forsyth park, and yummy restaurants/bars. The little patio was so nice to relaxing in and visit. The host thought of everything, we had everything we needed! Would totally stay here again!!

Nice Cottage in a quiet neighborhood

Cottage is nice and in a great location to access many parks while in Savannah. It is missing a few things in the kitchen (pot holders, kitchen towel) that would have been helpful since we cooked at the cottage for several meals. Overall a great place and hosts were great!

Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up.

A Couples Getaway

The property was immaculate and very authentic for the historical neighborhood it is located in. Short 2 minute walk to Forsyth Park and 1 mile from River Street. Cottage includes everything you could possibly want for anything from a short stay or a long one. Would highly recommend!

Everything was good, clean, the beds where comfortable. I think the only item to improve on is that in the listing it should say that it is a back house. We didn't realize the alley had a street address.

Fantastic stay! Loved the location

Lovely location in a beautiful neighborhood and so close to Forsyth Park. We really enjoyed walking the streets in the neighborhood as the homes were so beautiful and fun to look at. Place was clean and amenities were good. Communication was also very good. We'd stay again, if we come back to Savannah. Parking space is a big plus!

Perfect Walkable Location

About a mile to River Walk and downtown Savannah, two blocks away from Forsyth Park, easy to visit all the squares and just wander the oh so charming streets of Savannah. I took my 2 small dogs and they also enjoyed their visit to Savannah. Parking is right next to the cottage, which is well equipped and very clean.

Stairs were a joke. How that could even be allowed is beyond me. Top floor I hit my head constantly and first night bugs in bed! Not bed bugs I don’t think because I got rid of them and never saw them after. Not enough dishes, only 1 kitchen towel. Steps leading to patio were a real tripping hazard! We survived! Enough said. I was in town for business-stayed her for 9 days and it was the best little home away from home. I had to be up in the dark to exercise-running around Forsyth park a few time felt very safe. Sleeps 4 but that could ge a little tight imo. I would like to see some shades in the two windows to the south (above the door and the one up high) as that street light in the alley felt like a tractor beam in my face.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage! The beds were super comfortable, the place was very clean and location to Forsyth park was very convenient. Having a designated parking spot was wonderful and the outside enclosed patio was great for relaxing with our pup and for a morning breakfast. The only opportunity… possibly adding a black out shade to the upstairs window. The street lighting is very bright. Other than that small detail, everything was thoughtfully designed & made for a great family stay in Savannah. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Overall, the property was clean and nicely renovated. Tucked in the beautiful historic district of Savannah, it was a close proximity to Forsyth Park and great restaurants However, there a few things that could be remedied easily. First, the light control was problematic as there was a street light shining into the home making it feel as if it was light outside. This made for difficult sleeping!!! Second, because of the tight access to the bathroom, the metal edges of the staircase poses a risk of head injury. Third, I would suggest a few more basic cooking utensil such as a pot to boil pasta, medium & large saucepans, colander, and a cheese grater. Finally, a hairdryer would have been nice.

Cutest place ever!

We absolutely loved our little cottage. It had absolutely everything g we needed. It was clean and decorated beautifully. The little outside terrace was so cute and perfect to let our doggies get some fresh air. The cottage is a short walk from Forsyth park and Just a short drive from all the shops, restaurants and river street.
