Boerderij in het gebied van de Finger Lakes

Mooie boerderij op 100 hectare grote boerderij, gelegen in het gebied van de Finger Lakes. Het huis heeft 3 slaapkamers en is geschikt voor 8 personen met 2 queensize bedden, 1 grote en een slaapbank. Als je met kinderen reist, hebben we speelgoed beschikbaar waarmee ze kunnen spelen. Er zijn wandelpaden, 2 vijvers op het terrein om te zwemmen, kajaks beschikbaar om te gebruiken op de vijver en vele lokale attracties. Gelegen op 25 minuten van Keuka Lake, op 23 minuten van het Corning Museum of Glass, op 27 minuten van Watkins Glen International Raceway en Watkins Glen State Park.

Onze schuur is een trouwlocatie. Het is een afzonderlijke huur van het huis. Als u op zoek bent naar een prachtige plek om een bruiloft in de buitenlucht of een schuur te hosten. U kunt met onze grote vijver of in de schuur trouwen. De stal past tussen 150-188 mensen. We hebben voldoende ruimte om een tent en een dansvloer buiten op te zetten. The house is nice with three nicely sized bedrooms. The fenced in area for the dogs was a huge plus. The home has very nice country decor and quality beds and antique dressers. I asked ahead about events at the barn. I was glad that I did. The barn is beautiful, but close. It's beautiful countryside and there are a few options for grocery and food delivery. If you want to cook, the kitchen cookware is a little limited, but we got by just fine. Communication from the owners was excellent.

Beautiful piece of property, house was very clean and well equipped with all we needed as far as kitchen utensils and appliances. Very quiet area was quite relaxing. There was a good amount of different things to do within a 1/2 hour drive. Overall we were very satisfied with the rental.

It was nice. The house was plenty big. The location was quiet. But as it turns out, it was more remote than we realized. The A/C was okay. We did not ask for the extra window air conditioner and we should have. We brought 2 room fans with us, and that helped. It was nice to give the dogs some off-leash time in the small, fenced yard. I don't know about my travel companions, but my bed was very soft, not the best for my back or neck. The amount of furniture in the living room was great. We brought sheets to cover things to keep the dog hair mostly on the floor. The dining room was perfect for when my sister and brother-in-law brought dinner from where they were staying in Hammondsport. We appreciate a dog-friendly rental. Thanks for that.

Great place to stay if you want to get away but also stay within a short country drive of the Finger Lakes sites. Plenty of room in the house plus areas to explore on the property. Easy check in/check out process. Feels like a visit to Grandma’s house in the country. Highly recommend and I’m planning a return visit.

Oct 2024 Finger lakes visit

We chose this location as it was centrally located to most of the attractions we were targeting to visit. The property was very spacious and clean and as described on the web site. While many of the beautiful parks offered the same experience (rims-gorges-waterfalls-stairs) the one unique place not to miss is the corning glass museum. we would very much stay at the property again and give our kind host a big "thankyou"!

Great Getaway

It was very peaceful, full of wildlife. A great place to walk the dog. The house was roomy and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. A piece of the yard was fenced for the dog and in case you want your privacy. A fire pit to sit around and enjoy the night air and stars.

Peaceful Retreat with a Perfect Pond

The house was lovely! A great location for us, the house and bedrooms were spacious and the pond was just the perfect cherry on top. The property is really ideal for anyone wanting to plan a party with the adjacent barn venue. Also, we had a mishap with one of the window and the owners were kind and communicative. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Weekend get away

This house was cute and charming and the layout of the house and pond were beautiful nice and open. We loved the fire pit patio and the pond with kayaks was so much fun! Happy that the backyard had a fenced in area as there was another event taking place in the barn on Saturday so it was nice that we could still be outside but not have to worry about seeing other people at the other event. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and responded to any questions in a timely manner.

Fantastic Relaxing Property!!

Amazing chances for the children to explore nature. Beautiful uncluttered interior of house. This was a perfect spot to relax at the end of our day of exploring the Finger Lakes area. The air conditioning was fabulous. There were 3 different spots to enjoy our meals: at the large family table inside, at a small picnic table within a gated backyard perfect for toddlers, and at the fire pit. If we ever have the opportunity to return to the area, we would certainly check the availability of this property!!!

Beautiful Property

This property is very private and lovely. Had a wonderful pond and several trails. We had our dogs and they had a blast running around playing ball. It’s a drive to get into the town of Watkins Glen, but if you are looking for seclusion, it’s perfect. The house was super clean and well maintained. Owners were very accessible if needed.
