The Cottage on Sawmill Lane is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. It features spacious common areas creatively built around the central core of a vintage single wide mobile home. A very relaxing, all season sunroom welcomes you to the Cottage. From there you’ll enter the kitchen, with a cozy nook for reading or playing with toys while Mom and Dad cook. To the left of the kitchen are two sleeping areas with the bathroom sandwiched between. The addition on the back of the Cottage is a large living room with vaulted ceiling, two sleeper sofas, a sliding door leading to the back deck, and a spiral staircase leading to a sleeping loft. The Cottage is located on Sawmill Lane, just off Heister Valley Rd, along Shade Mountain. It is a ten minute drive to Susquehanna University, 40 minutes to Bucknell University, 10 minutes to Shade Mountain Golf Course, 78 minutes to Penn State University, and just 5 minutes from thousands of acres of state forest land. The Cottage is situated on 150 acres of woodland, ideal for hiking, exploring and cross-country skiing. You’ll find a stream for wading, a firepit with firewood provided, a gas grill and abundant wildlife. The Cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. You’ll be pleased to discover this vacation spot that is rustic enough to be comfortable for families with kids and pets, but also cozy enough for a romantic getaway.
