'Das Hotel hat eine erstklassige Lage. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind klasse. Die Sicht auf‘s Meer ist traumhaft schön.
Das Viertel hinten raus ist sehr schlicht und nicht so prickelnd. Man muss ein paar Meter laufen um in schönere Ecken des Ortes zu kommen.
Herausragend ist das Personal, alle, wirkliche alle Mitarbeitenden sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Chef des Hauses ist toll, er hat uns bei einem Problemchen schnell geholfen.

'The Plough is very nice and beautiful hotel. Great staff and great restaurant. The rooms aren't very big but very nicely decorated and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.'

'Stayed at here before as is prefect location in center of Scarborough with many areas within easy walking distance. Lovely hotel with staff second to none. Reasonable prices despite height of summer season and can get extremely busy. Parking can be a pain but other than that… highly recommended '

'Hotel service was excellent from dropping the bags off to checking out. They were so accommodating for dogs nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and the free tea and coffee was great'

The live entertainment in the pub was great and it finished promptly at 11pm so we could go straight to bed after and even though the pub shuts at 12 we couldn't hear anything in the room xxxxx'

'What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a different one around the corner the night before and what a difference our stay here was. Staff friendly, accomodation and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully cooked! Homemade nom nom. We were made to feel welcome and will be going back with our little boy for sure!

'Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!'
