'I went into this having read the reviews, so I didn’t expect much. I was actually surprised with how clean the room appeared. It smelled strongly of some sort of perfumed cleaner. No bed bugs or visible bugs. Day 1 was fine. It’s not a nice, nice place but good for a quick stay while passing through. This does appear to be the kind of hotel that people live at or, maybe DSS helps pay for their stays? 'The young receptionist was sitting behind bullet proof glass and didn't greet us with a smile. She was very soft talker and I don't think she loved her job. Flyer at check in explained how they were collecting an additional $100 for security deposit for damages...that didn't seem very welcoming. The halls were marked up with plaster patches - the floor light didn't work in the room. There was only one bedside table - had to drag chair over to my side of the bed to put my photo and water. 'The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The water view was very relaxing. They had a variety of food for breakfast, which made you feel like you were in an all inclusive resort. I would definitely stay again in this hotel.'
