'We loved this hideaway! Tucked in off a side road, it’s peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sunset just a quick walk from the property. Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town. The staff were so attentive and kind addressing all our needs. Onsite is a restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch or dinner. I would stay...

'Good A/C, nice sized room. Appreciated the "larger" mini frudge and coffee maker in the room. Very helpful woth local resources and advice on best travel routes. Got to see a mother howler monkey nursing her baby in the tree just adjacent to the room. Room walls are concrete, so couldn't hear anything from adjacent rooms. Much more serene atmosphere than the hectic pace and crowds in Nosara and Guiones beach areas. Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Louie for wonderful hospitality.'

'Genoten van ons korte verblijf hier. Het is een mooie plek met een fijne, prachtig aangelegde tuin met genoeg plekken rond het zwembad om lekker in de hangmat te hangen. Het strand is twee minuten lopen, alleen is Tamarindo minder makkelijk bereikbaar (met een bootje of ‘s avonds met de taxi). De kamer was schoon, fris en sfeervol ingericht. Het bed was comfortabel. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk, spreken uitstekend Engels en doen hun uiterste best om je te helpen. De service is echt top...

'The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!'
