'The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.'

'My first VRBO rental and it turned out wonderfully. House was clean, perfect size, perfect location for my visit. The owner thought of many small touches that I never dreamed would be in the house, such as blow dryer, laundry products, even hairspray. It was nicely decorated for the season as well. Will rent again the next time I visit. '

'We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.'

'This was the perfect place for my husband and I and another couple to enjoy a much needed R&R weekend. The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable.
