Beautiful and peaceful space, was perfect for my family of 5 during a baseball tournament. Bedroom upstairs was super kid friendly and plenty of space downstairs. My kids loved waking up and going to see the cows in the morning! Would highly recommend and will return the next time we're in the area

The Roost at Mulberry Creek

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect! The house is so beautiful ! We had a relaxing comfortable stay , with everything we needed. The location is not only lovely but also convenient to the painted churches and restaurants in town. We enjoyed reading the history of this interesting home ! We would highly recommend!

Great place for a family!

We stayed here during a baseball tournament with a family of 5 and was absolutely perfect. Great upstairs area for the kids, plenty of living space downstairs and everything we needed re: dishes, supplies, everything. Was really charming and the kids loved looking at the cows and playing the yard games during the day. The management wsa really easy to work with throughout the whole stay. Thank you for everything!

Peaceful Home

The house is absolutely beautiful, I love the location plenty of privacy. The house was very clean and very well maintained. The inside furniture very nice. Our working and myself really enjoyed the place . Back door patio was excellent, we really enjoyed this area. Highly recommend.

We actually did not spend much time at the location because of the activities of the wedding, but the house has a warm country feeling. It is decorated so nicely and was exceptional clean.

The farmhouse was a nice getaway for the weekend. If you are looking for something out in the country that is quiet with lovely views of the surrounding pastures, this is your place! Although it is a bit remote, it is easy to get into some of the surrounding towns.

The Roost was absolutely a wonderful place to stay. The peace and quiet we experienced here exceeded our expectations. The views off the back porch were breathtaking as we sat on the rocking chairs sipping our coffee. I wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back!

Cozy Cottage

A wonderful restoration to a picture perfect cozy home. Amenities are updated and I felt completely comfortable and safe as a single occupant. Perfect for a solo retreat, or a group getaway!

Lovely rural farmhouse

Our stay at the Roost, a lovely renovated well-equipped farmhouse, was great. The setting was beautiful for those who want a county setting. Access to Schulenburg and nearby points of interest was easy.

Host was very helpful and easy to contact. Property was beautiful & peaceful and close to the beautiful Painted Churches in the area. Waking up to the sounds of cows lowing in the pasture was so incredible - as were the numerous cardinals flying around on the property!Our only suggestion is to have a walkway from the driveway in front of the house to the entry in the back of the home - which is only way to enter & leave. It was very rainy a few of our days there and the ground was pretty mushy and not fun to walk walk on. The cows however probably thought we looked pretty funny as we tried to maneuver the puddles!

Relaxing getaway!

We loved our visit to the country! Enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning while watching the wildlife. The home has all you need so you can focus on unwinding. Beds and linens are comfortable, and the upstairs is nice for the kids to have their own space. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing Place

The Roost at Mulberry Creek is one of best places we have stayed. Pictures and description of house is spot on. It is the most adorable farmhouse. It was nestled right in the middle of all the places we wanted to go. We will most definitely go back.
