The Deichgraf vacation home, newly completed in 2024 in the Uckermark region near Schwedt, features 2 fully equipped vacation apartments, each with approximately 100 square meters of living space. The house is fully equipped with underfloor heating, triple-glazed windows with insect screens, 2 kitchen-living rooms with couches and TV armchairs, one dining table in each for up to 6 people (totaling 12 people), 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, and—as a highlight—an infrared sauna on the upper floor, where the bedrooms are also located: 2 single rooms, 2 double rooms with twin beds, and 2 double rooms with double beds featuring high-quality spring mattresses. If needed, there is also a sleeper sofa in each living room. Both apartments feature a covered patio with a table and chairs for 6 people. The house also has an outdoor area where everyone can gather, a double garage for bikes, a fire pit, a grill, and the wonderful surroundings—perfect for hiking, biking, or running—round out the amenities. Gatow is a district of Schwedt and has bus service; however, you’ll need to go to Schwedt town (about 4 km away) to shop, dine out, go to the movies, see a play, or use the swimming pool (once it’s repaired again)! Unfortunately, there’s nothing available locally. It’s about a 500-meter walk to the water, about 4 km to Poland, 80 km to Berlin, and so on.
