'We enjoyed our stay and everything was exactly as portrayed in the listing. The hosts are very friendly, everything was clean, and we didn’t have any issues. We didn’t use the train but it was extremely close (but train noise was not an issue). Another review says that this is not a property for tall people. I am 6’2” and the bed was plenty long (and comfortable), but it is true that the bathroom is an inconvenience due to the slanting of the roof. I don’t think tall people need to avoid...

'The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Our room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, excellent shower, free WIFI, and small flatscreen TV. Dogs are allowed. The hotel has a parking garage that can be reached by an elevator and is connected to a shopping mall. Free public transportation is offered direct to and from Bern city (~20 minutes). We had a great time and will be back!'

'The location absolutely could not have been better! It is just a short hop from everywhere in Old Town. And the evenings were wonderful to stroll around. The apartment was a bit spartan but very livable. There is a circular stair of 45 steps that should be pointed out. There was no shower curtain. Very good price for location. The manager, Fritz, was very quick to answer a few questions I had. Again, great location.'
