'Overal we had a nice stay in New York and the apartment. However, the communication via the Sondor app was poor. I had problems with the security payment which could not be solved via the app (at the end it took me 15min for a call). Futhermore, we had an issue with the fire alarm beeping (not solved during the evening / night).'

'We were upgrades to a 1 bedroom in the 7th Floor. Which was generally really nice. But then we arrived on Friday night and the 7th Floor terrace was right next to our bedroom and Some tennants were having a small get together on the terrace. And they were allowed to be there until 12. So something to consider when you give a room preference. Nothing against the building itself. Generally: would book again and would recommend!'

'Het hotel ligt op een uitstekende plaats wanneer je met de subway NY wil verkennen, alle metrolijnen op kruipafstand. Het is omgeven door eettentjes, (perfecte sushi aan de overkant!) en gezellig ingericht. Personeel is meer dan vriendelijk. De kamer is niet groot, maar heeft alles wat een reiziger wil hebben, perfect bed (kingsize) en supersnel gratis internet. Als enig minpuntje kan gelden dat er weinig ruimte is voor het ophangen van kleding. Voor ons geen probleem, we hadden maar weinig bij...

'Appartement is fantastisch. Smaakvol, netjes, perfecte bedden, airconditioned. Kortom, prima verblijf gehad. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het appartement in Hoboken, New Jersey ligt, wat enige reistijd met zich brengt om Manhattan te bereiken. De prettigste methode is ook meteen de duurste: via de ferry. Retourtje kost $18 per persoon. Je kan ook met de bus, $7 pp, maar die kruipt door de zeer drukke Holland Tunnel.'

'This was the perfect place for our quick overnight for a concert in Jersey City. Clean, safe, and more spacious than I expected for a city apartment. Kitchen has the basics to keep things cold (mini fridge) and heat things up (microwave, Keurig with coffee provided). We had zero issue with parking right on the block (though I imagine arriving later in the evening would have made it tougher). Easy Uber (10-15) into town. Would imagine this would be a great location for home base on an NYC trip,...

'We truly enjoyed our stay, especially its proximity to New York City. The private drive way was a bonus. Central air maintained a marvelous temperature throughout our stay with the hot temperatures in August.The condo was clean and inviting. 'Dette stedet anbefales på det varmeste. Og vert Ali var veldig påpasselig underveis, svarte på spørsmål, tipset om flytting av bilen på grunn av soping av gata og kom med ny brødrister når den gamle ikke virket. Leiligheten er godt utstyrt for 8., men ikke til 14. gode senger og godt fungerende kjøleanlegg. Enkle toalettartikler på alle bad. Det var stort sett rent og fint overalt. Det var lett å finne buss som tok deg til New York 5 minutter unna. Eneste negative ting våre ungdommer kommenterte...

'The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and decorated so beautifully!! The apartment also has access to a private backyard which was really pretty. Faria, the owner was very nice and so was her assistant Tiffany. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really nice place to stay. It is really close to the Journal Square Path (like a 7 minute walk) and is close to restaurants and shopping. You will not be disappointed!'

"De kamertjes in The Jane zijn nog steeds goede 'value for money', voor New York standards dan. Maar... de charme van vroeger, dat was de historische lobby, die een chic en beetje quirky sfeer bracht. Dat is niet meer. De hele ground floor is namelijk verkocht aan een besloten club. En strictly off limits. Nu heeft het hotel slechts een kale, saaie receptie ondergronds en een lift naar de étages met kamers. Ik heb hier (opnieuw) acht nachten verbleven, het kamertje is echt prima. Schoon en comfortabel en knus. Maar die Wes Anderson-sfeer... is niet meer."
