'The location and the view were amazing! Such an abundance of wildlife! Deer, heard a fox, and the birds! Heron, ducks, geese, bluebirds, eagles- and as we were leaving found the eagle nest, next to the house as they came screeching in. Beautiful dark sky for star gazing. The house is good, beds comfy, had all the amenities and supplies. Struggled a bit with the wall heaters ended up using the portable heaters. It was a cold weekend. 'Hideaway at Hayes Beach was amazing It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with our family. We were lucky enough to get snow! My husband and I enjoy walking so it was a prefect place to for it. Would definitely recommend this place'

'Clean room but TV, phone and hair dryer didn't work'

'The staff were extremly friendly, the breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The amenities were minimal...no microwaves in teh room and no pool. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would stay there again.'

'the hotel is starting to look a little tired, one would expect a Hilton Garden Inn to be in better shape. We've stayed here a few times over the last 3 years and we continue to see the same issues. The windows have a reflective coating on the outside I think to help keep the sun brightness down on the inside. And this coating is cracking, peeling etc and it makes the windows look like they are cracked and shattered in many places. Not a good look. Overall a good place to stay in the Solomon MD...
