'We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.'

'Overall we had a good, comfortable stay. The lodge felt clean ( although a couple of towels and the bedding in the main bedroom smelt mildly of damp). The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was lovely and strong. We dropped a star because of inaccurate listing which said that WiFi was included. Just before arrival, we were sent a welcome document that stated that the WiFi was broken and was no longer available, however when we arrived, wifi popped up. When we asked for the password we...

'Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! '

'Cute little shepherds hut, very thoughtfully laid out so I had plenty of facilities, plus room under the bed to store own things so wasn’t tripping over my bags and the dog bed all the time. Lovely Mountain View through the patio doors and window next to the bed. Beautiful garden for the dog to sniff around after a tiring day climbing hills to the Fyrish Monument and running through the Dornoch Bay sand dunes.
