'This hotel is a peaceful escape right in the heart of the mountains. The views are absolutely stunning, and the fresh mountain air is so refreshing. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the room was warm, clean, and cozy. It’s the perfect spot to relax, hike, and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. I loved every moment and would definitely come back!'

'Great location and street parking available. Clean appartmebt but quite warm with the sun. Fan was available but no crosswinds when we opened the balcony. Would recommend drawing the blinds in the morning when leaving the appartment to keep cool. We cooked our own breakfast and had all necessary utensils. Good appartment.'

'Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from '

'The apartment was spacious for the two of us, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had a good range of appliances and the lounge had comfortable seating.'

'The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night. On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming. We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

'We stayed at The Old Police House for a week (the first week of February) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was fully equipped, from towels to salt and pepper, everything was there. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Sue, the owner, has truly thought of everything, even diapers for the little ones were provided. Toys, dog towels, food bowls for the dog, everything was available. The house is warm (both literally and figuratively), cozy, and the location is beautiful and...

'We were initially very tensed as we are going to Europe for first time. Communicated with the owners (Karen & George), they were very friendly and eased our anxiety. Karen met us after we checked-in and she was very friendly and helpful. My wife and daughter liked the glamping area very much, its safe. I highly recommend if you are planning for a trip to Loch Ness and need a small private atmosphere.'

'This is a great cabin in the woods and in the middle of the Highlands. A lot of tourist attraction are near by, so the location is great. Facilities are ok. Bed and shower is good. The couch is great and lovely to sit on after spending a day outside. Cooking facilities are good as well. Next time I would spend my stay in the Highlands here again. '

'The property is excellent and very clean. It is roomier than it appears from the pictures. The bed is very comfortable and warm, just right for a good night's sleep after exploring Arran. The cottage is extremely well equipped and ideally located for the small village of Lamlash, a few minutes walk to a Coop supermarket, restaurants, hotels and cafes. 'A group of 7 family and friends from various places in Scotland and England stayed at Cardon House as a good place to get together.It's a lovely house and very comfortable and spacious! Wish we were staying longer. Some stunning scenery in the area and saw a red squirrel in the garden! Did not meet Caroline the host in person but spoke on the phone a couple of times, she was very helpful and friendly.Thoroughly recommend this place for a group of up to 12.'

"The hotel was an okay hotel. It was quite outdated, we had two power sockets (only one worked) and everything creaked if we would move. Unfortunately our toilet had something brown/yellow in it upon arrival. The rest was okay."

"The hotel has a good location and decent rooms, but our stay was marred by several issues. Our shower was broken upon arrival, leaving us unable to shower for a full day. We had to build makeshift water barriers with towels to prevent flooding. Service at the front desk was poor. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and when we asked about it, staff falsely claimed we had declined housekeeping, which we hadn’t. The elevator smelled strongly of vomit throughout our visit and was never addressed. After the shower was finally repaired, no one informed us or followed up, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. The breakfast area often felt unclean — tables were sticky, and between 8:00 and 9:00 it got overcrowded quickly, with food items running out fast."
