Compared to the red roof that we checked out of that was such a horrible experience we felt like we were at the Ritz Carlton. If you stay in Scottsboro, definitely stay at the Hampton Inn.

Just…an … ok… stay
The first room we checked in smelled like smoke. So, she kindly moved us to a different room with two double beds. The pillows need to be changed out. The pillowcases smell bad, and the inside pillow covering has turned a weird yellow color. Needs updating. And the hotel itself just needs some air freshening and extra TLC & cleaning… bed was OK but, probably my least favorite Hampton I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was good. (except coffee was weak)

Ms. Leslie,Please accept our apology for the smoke smell wehave always been Non-Smoking hotel, The yellow pillow protectors are on Feather pillows and white onfoam pillows so if anyone has a allergy to either wetake the ones out during their stay and no one accidently puts the wrong ones in. We have 2 feather and 2 foam on every bed in the hotel.I am sorry they did not let you know why they were different colors.We hope to see you again if you are in the Scottsboro area.

Getting into the property is awful. No sign on the frontage road indicating where to turn. Parking is also awful

The common areas, lobby, and hotel corridors were immaculately kept. The parking lot was well lit. Bed linens and towels were Hilton brand standard and clean. Unfortunately, the carpet in guest room needed to be cleaned, the refrigerator needed to be defrosted, the paint on the toilet seat was flaking off and there was no alarm clock in the room.

The staff for this property were very friendly and eager to assist. The hotel entrance was a little difficult to locate due to no signage indicating the entrance.

It was clean. Walking distance to walmart. Finding the entrance to get there was a little tricky my GPS was sending me to go behind home depot, but its actually the road next to home depot. It looks like a dead end road but you have to turn left.

The front desk woman with straight brown hair 6/3/23 was PHENOMENAL. Super friendly & helpful. The pool is gorgeous & rooms very clean. Only complaint is the signage finding the hotel. A bit off the road & a little confusing.

The people were rude. The room was dirty and they didn’t provide any maid service without a 24 hour notice. Dont let the name fool you. I’ve stayed in many Hilton owned hotels including this Hampton inn in Scottsboro Alabama for fishing trips. I won’t stay there or any of them again.
