'I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I have to say a great big thank you to the chefs who really took care of my dietary needs with real kindness. I would recommend this lovely hotel in a perfect location and am planning my next visit.'

'Prima kamers boven een pub. Een beetje lawaaierig. Ontbijt moest je avond ervoor bestellen, was ok, niet super, maar goed genoeg. Personeel is vriendelijk en correct. Minpunt was de douche, deze was erg klein (nog nooit zo klein gezien) en de watertemperatuur bleef op en neer gaan, van warm (te warm) naar koud.'

'The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good. The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy. The only negative is that there is no food on site and the leisure facilities are no longer open and will probably never re-open. 'They could of been a car park with the hotel but therexwas not and i think it is wrong thatcwe had to pay for car park aswell '

'Always enjoy staying here. Splendid room, spacious and comfortable. Building itself is historic. Breakfast was very good and worth having, not least for the magnificence of the surroundings. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. '
