We verwelkomen je graag persoonlijk aan je kust "thuis weg van huis" in het Castle Beach House ... waar we ernaar streven om voortdurend de gemakken en het comfort te verbeteren om van je welverdiende vakantie een tijd van zorgeloze verfrissing te maken, waardevolle herinneringen te maken met familie en vrienden.

Ons huis is geweldig voor gezinnen, met name jonge gezinnen, en is ideaal voor retraites en uitjes. We verhuren aan groepen als ELK persoon in de groep 28 jaar of ouder is.

Dit ruime Townsend Inlet huis met 4 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ligt op slechts twee en een half korte blokken van de oceaan en een blok naar de baai. Geniet van adembenemende zonsondergangen over de wetlands van het nieuwe omhullende DECK met prachtig nieuw dekmeubilair - grote rechthoekige tafel met veel comfortabele stoelen. Bewonder het panoramische uitzicht op het eiland vanuit de vernieuwde toren / serre, terwijl je in stijl ontspant na een leuke dag op het strand!

Dit unieke en sierlijk ingerichte huis, dat door een bouwer voor zijn eigen gezin is gebouwd, is onlangs opgewaardeerd (inclusief nieuwe vloeren boven en beneden) om comfortabele accommodaties te bieden voor onze gewaardeerde gasten. -GRANIETE KEUKEN TELLERSTOPPEN met spatten van glastegels werden onlangs ook geïnstalleerd. Keurig (12/2017) en traditionele koffiezetapparaten zijn aanwezig. Een GRACO kinderstoel, evenals een Graco Pack 'N' Play, schommelstoel en veel kindvriendelijke extra's zijn voorzien voor het gemak en plezier van onze gasten! We zijn blij om voor je ontspannen gezinstijd een telescoop te bieden, evenals een kaarttafel / stoelen voor puzzels en spelletjes.

Met een kathedraalplafond, dakramen en bijgewerkte gashaard - de Great Room is ruim en perfect om in te kruipen met die ene speciale persoon. Uw gezellige strandhuis heeft een 55 'HDTV met surround sound, nog 3 tv's, WiFi, 4 dvd-spelers en videorecorder, dvd-bibliotheek, bordspellen en boeken.
Uw ontspannen thuis weg van huis biedt strand: tags paraplu & stoelen. GEEN GROEPEN tenzij alle leden 28 of ouder zijn. Nee / HUISDIEREN / ROKEN.
1e niveau-slaapkamer 1-Queen; Bedrm 2-Queen Tempurpedic; Bedrm 3-2 aparte bedden. Nieuwe traagschuimmatrassen vanaf mei 2017. Vol bad, wasserette Rm. 2e niveau-Great Rm -55 "TV; gashaard; Queen slaapbank en Loveseat, LG Eat-In keuken-zwart / zilver apparaten w / oversized pantry. Vol bad. Bedrm 4 -2 eenpersoonsbedden - nieuwe traagschuimmatrassen vanaf mei 2017. 2 pluche opklapbedden. Torentje / serre - Ga vanaf het dek de wenteltrap op naar je eigen privéverblijf! Drink in een briesje in de baai, ervaar glorieuze zonsondergangen of knuffel gewoon met dat boek dat je wilde lezen.

Oprit parkeren voor 2; grenst aan de tuin, die een gasgrill en picknicktafel heeft, voor informeel buiten dineren. De ingesloten buitendouche bevindt zich in een ommuurde ruimte, op steenworp afstand van de wasruimte aan de achterzijde van het huis.

Veiligheid - Er zijn brandblussers, koolmonoxidedetectoren, een noodpakket (voedsel, water, benodigdheden voor eerste hulp, evacuatie-info), kinderveilige stopcontactafdekkingen, evenals contactinformatie voor apotheek en medische centra.

~ Doen wat we kunnen om een heerlijke en zorgeloze vakantie voor onze gasten te vergemakkelijken is onze plicht en voorrecht! ~
                                 Houd er rekening mee dat:
Wij bieden het hele jaar door reserveringen aan. Lange weekenden en weken. Voor twee of meer weekvakanties bieden wij een korting.

Om onze gasten en buren beter te huisvesten - We verhuren niet aan groepen onder de 28 jaar oud. Omdat sommige gasten allergisch kunnen zijn, zijn huisdieren ook niet toegestaan.

Breng beddengoed en handdoeken mee **** - dekbedden en kussens zijn aanwezig, net als STRAND: tags (6); 6 strandstoelen, parasol en speluitrusting. Een strandwagen (gekocht 7/2019) en Wonder Wheeler (strandkar - gekocht juni, 2019) worden aangeboden voor uw gemak!

Great location in a calm but fun beach town

We loved our stay at Ellen and Jim’s home. We were able to gather at the end of a long day around the table, or hang out in the upstairs family room and watch TV. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. We would stay here again!

Great Long Weekend!

We just returned from a long weekend and I can't recommend it enough! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, cart, and games. The location is unbeatable – close enough to town for convenience but still tucked away for a peaceful, private retreat. The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We can't wait to come back again!

COMFY CASTLE!

We had a fantastic week at the Castle Beach House! it is so nice to be greeted at arrival by Ellen our hostess with so much enthusiasm for her guests to see the house and learn so much about Sea Isle City! They have put together a wonderful binder of just about everything you need to know about the house, history, and activities proved in the area. Also a section with restaurants with the ratings of previous guests! this beach area is definitely not a city. it is a vibrant community with dedication to providing a lot of outdoor activities for families with no charge. Since we had several cooler days with red flags at the beach we spent time playing pickle ball, enjoying a very large play ground, riding bikes and fishing/crabbing from a beautiful pier. This southern end of the island is very narrow and quiet which provides a feeling of having your own beach and inlet at close range. Now for the biggest hit for the kids! THE TURRET ROOM! Immediately upon arrival all the kids of all ages had to run up and inspect that room! it became the highlight of a lot of imaginative play and a game room. Bottom line...when you are picking a vacation spot with kids in mind it is so nice to find a place that everyone can feel comfortable and not worry about a lot of fancy furniture or breaking valuables. And a real perk was having Ellen and Jim as hosts who enjoyed answering questions and care about their guests of all ages.

Our family of five, plus a few friends, enjoyed our week in this clean, spacious condo. Great location, excellent climate control and wonderful hosts made this a week to remember. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful beach, and also made trips to Ocean City for the rides, Cape May for the zoo, and Avalon got shopping/ dinner!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay !!

Ellen was the perfect host ! She happily greeted us we a warm friendly welcome. We were celebrating a family reunion and found her home the perfect location, well equipped and plenty of room. Also loved the outdoor deck area where you can view the bay and beautiful sunsets. The off street parking was also a real plus. Ellen also provided lots of beach necessities and was there for anything you needed. Five stars for location, condition and great communication. Will be returning !!

Ellen and Jim are 2 of the best hosts we have ever encountered. Ellen took time to greet us and explain various aspects of their home . She also had a list of current activities at the shore . -The owners couldn't be nicer! They are very communicative and aim to please. -The location is great and convenient to all Sea Isle offers. -The kitchen has necessary cooking/serving items. -Beach chairs, umbrellas and carriers were provided. -The home was clean upon arrival; however, the decor (including bedspreads) is older. Renters can expect a late 1980's upside-down style shore house (3 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs) with comfortable mattresses. We suggest bringing your own bedspreads or blankets. -We did not have a problem with ants as mentioned in other reviews, so it looks like that has been addressed. -The TV streaming was intermittent and buffering, and the owner was looking into fixing/upgrading the WiFi.

Nice Beach House in Great Location

Homeowner first sent us community information listing events and things to do in the area prior to the vacation. Then she greeted us upon arrival and showed us the beach house. The home was clean and nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable. The house location was very nice, just a few blocks from the beach and a block from the bay where we went crabbing with the provided crab traps. The kids were excited as they caught 26 crabs in about 45 minutes. The house had everything the 8 of us needed for the week including beach chairs and a buggy to tote everything to the beach. We walked to sunset pier for dinner, scoops ice cream shop and Blitz's Market are just a few short blocks away. We had a great time and would definitely come back again!

Nice location but needs a good cleaning

The house was not as clean as we expect, and they also have a major ant problem, which I have since come to find out the hosts already knew about. Apparently they had an exterminator out a few weeks before our stay, but knowing this, they should have been extra diligent with making sure the problem was resolved and thoroughly cleaning the place before we arrived. There were ants everywhere, and I mean everywhere. When we started to look closer, there were ants in the bathrooms on both floors, dead ants and dust along the baseboards of the downstairs bedrooms, and we even saw some dead ants under the glass of a picture on the wall! We didn't really want to use the kitchen since ants would be on the counter and in cabinets, plus the spices available in the cabinet were old and stale (probably also had ants in them, but didn't check that closely). Overall the house served its purpose, but we could not be super comfortable. Also the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, but that wasn't a big deal for us on this particular trip. Check-in process was in-person & a bit lengthy. If given the option, I'd prefer self-check in. It would be great to at least have hand towels in the bathroom and kitchen, even though we have to provide our own linens and bath towels. But to give a few pros: Ellen is nice and was very communicative. The house is nicely laid out & in a nice location, walkable to beach or bay, playgrounds and some restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

The perfect Memorial Day family weekend!

I know others have said this, but the pictures just don’t do this house justice! Loved all the windows and sliders keeping it bright with the perfect breeze coming through. Ellen and Jim thought of everything and were the perfect hosts! There wasn’t one amenity we needed or wanted that wasn’t already provided. The kitchen has everything and has lots of space. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening. The grass yard was such a bonus! Allowed us plenty of space to play and entertain. We loved this new find and definitely plan to return!

We were in town for a few days for a family wedding. Great location, and Ellen was a great host!

Ellen was great at giving us information in advance of our stay and making sure the check in process was smooth, even though we arrived several hours later than anticipated.
