Bewonder de weilanden langs de kust en de brede Stille Oceaan vanuit dit huis met twee slaapkamers in Sea Ranch, waar je een eigen terras hebt met uitzicht op het water, een hondvriendelijk interieur en gemakkelijke toegang tot gemeenschappelijke zwembaden, sauna's en tennisbanen .

Dit huis met twee verdiepingen ligt aan de westkant van California Highway 1, een kwart mijl ten zuiden van het verwarmde buitenzwembad, tennisbanen en sauna's in het Ohlson Recreation Center. Maak 's ochtends wandelingen naar Stengel Beach (minder dan anderhalve kilometer ten noorden) en Pebble Beach (anderhalve kilometer ten zuiden), begin een rondje tussen de cipressen bij de Sea Ranch Golf Links vijf mijl ten noorden en verken de markten, restaurants en galerieën in het centrum van Gualala zes mijl ten noorden.

De leefruimte is gezellig, comfortabel en schilderachtig in elk seizoen en biedt natuurlijke houten muren, overal gratis WiFi en een pelletkachel om je tenen op mistige ochtenden op te warmen. Kruip op de stoel bij het raam met een boek of een bordspel, houd uw ogen gericht op de horizon voor walvisuitlopen en nestel u met uw dierbaren terwijl u geniet van de flatscreen-tv, dvd-speler, videorecorder en VHS-bibliotheek.

Begin elke ochtend met zelfgemaakte wafels en versgemalen koffie in de volledige keuken. Laat de vaatwasser opruimen terwijl u uw honden meeneemt om te wandelen (houd er rekening mee dat een limiet van twee honden geldt). Breng de rest van de dag door met strandjutten, lees de krant op het dek met uitzicht op de oceaan en steek de gasgrill aan voor een maaltijd in de buitenlucht voor het hele gezin.

U moet contact met ons opnemen om meer dan één hond aan de reservering toe te voegen, indien toegestaan. $ 20 per hond, per nacht. Als huisdieren zijn toegestaan, zijn de kosten voor de eerste hond inbegrepen in de totale vermelde kosten.

Parkeernotities: Reserveringen met 1-2 gasten ontvangen één parkeerkaart (tenzij anders aangegeven); reserveringen met drie of meer gasten ontvangen twee parkeerkaarten. De Sea Ranch Association staat slechts twee passen per reservering toe. Parkeerpassen zijn voor auto's die geparkeerd zijn in de Sea Ranch (bij de rec-centra, wandelpaden, etc.) en moeten zichtbaar zijn in de voertuigen. Voor gasten met meer dan twee auto's kunnen extra auto's worden gebruikt om met een pas van en naar het huis te gaan, maar moeten anders op de oprit blijven. Parkeren op straat is niet toegestaan. Vragen over parkeerbeperkingen kunnen worden gericht aan de Sea Ranch Association op (707) 785-2444. Kantooruren zijn dinsdag tot en met zaterdag van 08.30 uur tot 17.00 uur.

Lovely Cottage, Incredible View, Great Location

This cottage is sweet, and the owners vibe is caring and casual. There is a loft that is not available and the cleanliness is hit or miss, but it was fully stocked and comfortable. The common areas are wonderful just like the photos show. Appliances are aged but everything worked. Though it’s right off the highway it is quiet and sleeping was great; the queen is very comfortable. The view of the ocean is truly amazing and the general location is outstanding for proximity to beaches and the sea ranch dining. Overall a great sea ranch experience, lovely, comfortable and we loved it.

Booked this place for the Labor Day weekend back in the Spring. After the contract was executed we learned about a house being constructed across the street. Other parties mentioned about noise during the day — we were not impacted much by that (though the porta-potty was an eyesore. The real challenge of the rental was the sleeping arrangements — one of the bedrooms has a Queen sized bed and private bath. The other bedroom is a nightmare! In a 10’x8’ space, there are two TRIPLE DECKER bunk beds, each about 2 feet wide and about 2 feet between them. The top bunks are damaged — on one side there is a broken bedrail that left a 4-inch wooden spike — really unsafe! Making matters worse, the levels are so close together it’s impossible to sit up (or turn over) without hitting the bottom of the bunk above. Can’t imagine kids navigating the room, and for adults it’s impossible. There is only one working light in the room that works by plugging or unplugging a broken lightcord. I would have expected a safety check before renting this place. It definitely needs one. I will be seeking a refund.

Great House

Lots of positives about the house. Beautiful house. Open concept and bright. Great location. Ocean views, safe and quiet community with access to bluff trail and Pebble Beach We enjoyed biking and eventhough we didn't get a chance to use the pool, it looked very inviting. The slight negatives were that looking straight out the living room/ kitchen across the street was construction, red tape and portapotty, although it did not block the ocean view yet. The house's two bathrooms show its age. Although everything was functioning. We missed not having laundry but did fine without it. All-in-all cute house.

Took my 4 kids here for a few days over Father’s Day weekend. The place was well appointed with all the comforts one may need, including lots of beautiful cookware. Not the easiest to get the welcome package, especially after a several hour drive with a gaggle of kids, but the location for that is close to civilization. Overall, rad spot, adorable little cottage, and it made for amazing memories.

Water Heater Issue

The stay was wonderful but upon check in we arrived to several work trucks and workers on site at the house (water heater, landscape). The water heater had gone out- the situation was handled well but did cause disruption to our stay for 2 days. We had discussed a discount, but I never received anything back after that. The right thing to do is offer a discount of one night's stay. Again, this situation was handled well but we did have plumbers in the house and with access to the house for 2 days. This was uncomfortable.

Great for young kids and pets

I'm a single mama with two small children and one big dog. The Clemmons Cottage gave us a feel for old world Sea Ranch and all of it's fabulous 70s-ness without having to worry about some of the preciousness that comes with some of the higher-priced, higher-end properties. It had everything we needed to be cozy at a price I could afford. The heater in the kid's bedroom wasn't working, but the pellet stove did its job of keeping us all toasty in the rain and chill. I hope the new home going up across the street doesn't mar (pun intended) the stellar view. Many thanks!

Perfect stay

Great location with wonderful ocean views. Open skies for star gazing. The house had a great vibe and felt comfortable and welcoming. Perfect bunk beds for our granddaughters. We look forward to staying here again.

Good relaxing weekend getaway.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Sea Ranch community is quite a unique spectacle, and a quaint quiet place to spend a weekend on the coast. The house was good overall, but had a few cobwebs, and the upper loft area pictured in the listing was boarded off limits. Other than that, it came with everything we needed for our stay.

Great Pet Friendly House in Sea Ranch

Overall we loved our stay here. The view & layout of the house is great, it's private & close to all Sea Ranch has to offer- quick beautiful walk to beaches, pool/tennis courts and trails in every direction. Love that it was pet friendly so we could bring our entire family. Would have been a perfect getaway except for issues with the bunkbed/kid room 1.) The heater didn't work so our daughter was freezing 2.) The bunk beds are all weird heights so the lowest ones are super claustrophobic for anyone who doesn't like sleeping in a coffin, the highest ones are way too high for younger kids to safely sleep in which left the middle ones as the best option where you can't sit up in bed, so none were great options unfortunately. We were only there a couple nights so it wasn't terrible but would have been difficult if we were there an entire week. We love Sea Ranch! Such a beautful place to unwind.

The house was very clean and in a good location. Plenty of nice towels and bedding. The kitchen was a little lacking in tools for food prep...only some measuring cups, no cookie sheet, only cereal bowls, so hard to serve snacks...but we were on holiday so we just worked around it...overall a nice stay!

We chose this house as it had a great location, close to trails and the community pool. It had everything we needed to enjoy a few days with our friends and 4 month old daughter. The house could use a deep cleaning as there were some old cobwebs and dirty corners and could use some updates, such as to the screen door.

Old house, not worth it, tired and noisy

Property is not well maintained, chairs on front porch are broken , heaters in the room are inefficient and very noisy, light switches are confusing and some lights didn't work I almost fell on the stairs in the middle of the night. The unit was NOT clean when we arrived, crumbs on the table, dirty towels on the towel rack in the bathroom, the kitchen counters were not wiped clean. Window blinds were broken. Cushions on the couch were worn, finish on cabinets and floors beat up and dirty looking.

A Cozy Cottage in an Pleasing Landscape

Pretty much met all of our expectations. Sea Ranch is well designed to let you relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this stretch of California's coastline. This cottage is somewhat modest (there is a loft space that was off limits when we visited), but it does a good job of letting you focus on the natural world around you. Deer graze right outside the window on a daily basis. This cottage is on the ocean side of the 1, but it is somewhat set back from the ocean--there are a number of other homes in sight as you look out at the sea. But you still get a wonderful view of the ocean in the distance. The furniture and other fixtures were somewhat dated, but whether this is a good or bad thing will depend on the visitor--the place doesn't feel super modern, but it does feel cozy and lived-in. A word of warning: heat in the main living area is provided by a pellet stove, which can be a little tricky to figure out if you haven't used one before. The home gets quite cold at night, even in August, without firing that up. Overall, being able to bring our dog to stay in such a beautiful landscape was a wonderful experience.
