This house needs a serious cleaning to include doors, cupboards, windows and screens, window sills, pots and pans put away unclean. Just about anything we needed to use we had to clean first. There are drawers that are broken in the master bedroom, the cupboards in the kitchen are in serious need of cleaning and or upgrading. The smoke detector in the bedroom downstairs was lying on the tv cabinet. All the vents in the house need cleaned. The washing machine had soap gunk and mold. I spent an hour cleaning just that out before using it. It was incredibly disappointing to pay over 3.000 only to have to clean any room we wanted to use. The owners use of timers of the window coverings was pretty weird, too bad if you wanted to sleep past 7.30 in the morning and on the first morning my guests were surprised when walking from the bathroom back into the master suite only to find that they were on display to anyone walking by. There were two outside sitting areas that were both covered by spiderwebs and outside debris. There are coverings that would be really helpful to keeping things clean enough for guests to use without having to clean first. Overall I found myself apologizing and cleaning way more than I should have had to. This house needs a good paint job and deep cleaning before letting it out to anyone else. If you are paying a housekeeper then you need to have a clearer picture of what you expect them to deliver to your guests. I have many more photos.
